- Hello & welcome to a new episode, a barn find special
So what can I tell you? How it started haha, So. I got a message a couple of weeks back asking if I'd like to go and record this fella's car collection. I obviously said yes, but me being me, I tend to delete stuff without thinking before I do it, so me being me, I deleted the message. I totally forgot who sent it, so I moved on and forgot about it. Then my good friend Dave messages me again saying he's still open for me to go and look at his collection and can record it if I want, WELL! What an absolute legend of a man. On arriving to where my mate dave lives i wasn't really expecting much. Driving into a quiet homely council estate, Nothing really out of the norm, kids running about cars parked here and there, It felt like any other estate in Not so Great britain...Straight away i was greeted by his wife waving, It felt like i had pulled into one of the east end streets, Nothing but love haha, I instantly felt at home, Fantastic start, The first car i see was the old Ford sat on the drive, On getting out of my car i was greeted by their son very nice chap, And then I see Dave, mountain of a man with a lot of life in his eyes, Fantastic bloke! He takes me down the side of his house we enter his back garden, walk up to the barn/shed/garage, he opens up the gates!! MIND BLOWN!! He only has a barn find COSWORTH HIDDEN!!! What a dream come true and, on top of that, he has a 40k 1 owner Mini Cooper! A custom softail fat boy, Harley Davidson, not to mention other cool cars like a retro 2.8 Granada! What an absolutely amazing day i had. If it wasn't for this man, I doubt I'd be getting back into car finds as i nearly lost all hope. It's not easy doing my job, especially when all you get is negativity aimed at you for doing something like trying to save classic/retro cars. Anyway, I do hope you enjoy what you see. Hopefully, this brings back my ever decreasing audience. If not no drama, I will keep pushing forward. Nothing but love to you all my amazing Imstokze family,

Picture this mate 31 years ago, I was 16 and my mate had a red one of these, I always sat in the back as I was never quick enough with calling shotgun for the front seat and used the arm rest to stop myself sliding across the back seats when my mate was hooning it around corners! I will never forget on the M3 at 5am one night we went for a top speed between Basingstoke and Winchester I remember closing my eyes at 145mph with my mate absolutely pissing himself. Great vid mate more like this!

Ive got a Peugeot 205 grd in my workshop that was taken off the road due to my mom passing away and has been in my workshop since. All in original condition.

The Cossie was a great car,I had the Sapphire for a whileand tbh I still prefer the Cossie to the Audi 80 qautro I have always loved BMW audi and ford's didn't like the stagg till I had the running gear changed and had an oversize rad fitted.

What a find , hope it gets restored. I read many negative comments but life does take over with other commitments/ family etc etc, similar story here in my yard , i have an Xr4 i left outside since 1998, a brooklands capri 280 indoors but not moved since 2008, mk3 Cortina GXL and a Capri Mk1 facelift 3000 Gxl sat since 2006 but also both indoors. You just keep saying to yourself ... one day soon.

Good afternoon STOKZE,just watched this vid on the Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4x4 and what an absolute stunner, however I am unable to place a bid as I really don’t have anywhere to keep such a wonderful creation, but I do hope that whoever is the lucky person who does get to own this car has a fantastic time with it and seriously enjoys driving the car and until next time TaRa for a bit.
Now i miss mine massively i sold my white F reg 2wd in 2005 with 64000 miles for £4500 one of my biggest ever regrets. And that smellavision from the exhaust brought back all the memories

Nice come back Bro! Shes a beauty! I had a Sierra Sapphire 2.0Lx back in the day, was around the time I had a Capri. Miss them both. Later on in life I ended up with a big ol Granada 2.8 Cologne Engine then later on a Granada Estate. Regret selling all my old motors, think most of us do unless they were lemons!

Very xlean looking rs cosworth they had around 210 , 220 bhp in standard form, always liked the 4 door more , i brought a 1990 Nissan bluebird sss attessa which is basically a 4 door pulsar gtir for 1k from my mate

Great find. I had a 24v Granada back in the day. They had Cosworth lumps in them but weren't classed as Cosworth cars.
Yes, V6 non turbo engines, had around 200hp. Would've loved ford to have upgraded the XR 4X4 with that engine. 👌
