I honestly like that you included the par for each hole instead of just the overall score. Just something I like to have when I go minigolfing
Contradictory to apparently most everyone, I like the new video editing. Most specifically the video inset so you can zoom in on hole while seeing complete layout. Also, understand due to copyright issues why you would want to put in own background audio. Perhaps a survey by viewers for playlist sense that seems to be an issue with them . I enjoy your videos Brooks, great job.

Hole 7, The Rocket Ship is my favorite. Simply because of the randomness (sliver of an entrance) and the possible path(down the spiral) of ofthe ball. Great Post.

Go Team Elisha! I actually like the look of the Sears Tower hole. It's really well constructed and it's funny to see the ball spin so fast down the coaster and then just slowly dribble out of the hole!
The best part of this course is Elisha’s shorts and her smile! 😮
I agree with you Brooks on the roulette wheel being my favorite hole because of the randomness of it. I feel mini-golf should be about the random luck getting the ball into the hole and not pure skill. Plus, I like the way you did the videos in the past. The lack of machismo in your videos that is evident in so many of other channel videos make watching the two of you play such an enjoyment. Keep it simple and stick with the original formula.
Honestly, I completely agree. I wanted to test a different editing style with this video, but it will be dialed way back closer to my normal edits moving forward. Come back for Friday's video of the other course here and I think you'll like it a lot more 😁
Here is what I would recommend, lower the music by 90%. Leave the orignal graphic of total score in real time. Still put up the par/unqiue info but on the side. The zoom is cool for in the distance shots where its hard to see on phones. Not bad though for an expirimental video.
I agree with most people. The music is too loud. Your banter is a big part of what makes this fun. I love the scorecard!

Hey Brooks.. major credit to them for their inventiveness on that course. Edits wise, like the others I am not so mad on some of the changes. I like the hole in one features :)... preferred the constant mini score at the bottom left.. would be cool to have a little star for each hole in 1 stay with the score too. Keep up the good work and never be afraid to experiment 👍🏼

I have always been supportive of your channel because I really like the way the two of you interact and that the content you provide is always fun and family friendly. But Dude, the new editing is a bit much. I get the experimentation, and I get that others may be really liking it, but it's a bit much for me. Just my very humble opinion.

Love this course and the Super Loop is the best one!!! I loved it when you called it "Super Duper Looper" the real life "SooperDooperLooper" at Hersheypark is one of my favorite classic roller coasters. All it has is just 1 loop, but it's SUPER!

Nice job on the edit. It can be hard to get just the right balance on the background music but you'll get there. It would appear that some people don't like change but they will get over it. 🙂👍

It'll be quieter moving forward. The music playing at the course was pretty loud so I had to work around it. Friday's video of the other course will be a lot quieter :)

I like the zooming in on the ball. Makes it so much easier to see, especially in shadows.
I'm not opposed to change like others, but I prefer less background music and the old format at the lower left of scores.
The music will definitely not be nearly as loud moving forward. I like having the scoreboard not taking up space on the screen the entire time, but I'll keep trying new things to see what people gravitate to the most :)

swear that's the first time I've seen Elisha without sunglasses....still like the crazy indoor one with all the wood contraptions you guys played somewhere more than these, but this was a fun one as well
one of the most unique mini golf courses i've seen... right up there with urban putt and crave. i've been to many mini golf courses in my younger days, and i've never done these fancy mini golf courses. holes 7 and 9 are among the favorite holes in this video... the roulette hole takes the cake

Brandon Lee the music was mainly to drown out the music playing at the course, it won’t be that loud for the second side. Come back Friday and hopefully you’ll like that one much more 😊
@@BrooksHolt music didn't bother me, because I know sometimes these courses have copywrited music...and you can get in CZcams's bad side for that stuff.

I watch every video and really enjoy watching a nice relaxing round of mini golf. The new music is extremely annoying and ruins a nice relaxing video. Please, please do not continue using the music. I also do not like the new scoring. The card in between holes is nice, but I like having the score on the screen at all times. I am often watching while doing other things and I want to be able to easily glance and see the score if I have to look away for a short time. I thought everything was perfect. If it is not broken don't fix it. This is a great course. Go Team Elisha.

Why does every youtube channel eventually start overproducing their videos? Simplicity is so much better, especially for a channel like this.
I watch almost all of your videos, but I had to turn this one off half way, I cannot stand the editing. On one of my favorite courses too.

The background music, the clapping....that ruins it for me. I don't feel like I'm there anymore. It's like I'm just watching highlights instead of being at the game.
Super looper is my favorite. I like how you show how the holes work later on in the rocket ship one. I am always curious as to how the mechanics work on the holes.

Too much going on. Sound effects. Loud music. Split screen. Graphics. Less is more. The simplistic format from the beginning made it more enjoyable. Just my two cents.

@@BrooksHolt I see it the other way around. I haven't seen any videos for a long time and was very positively surprised. Makes the whole thing more pleasant for me to watch, not so monotonous.
I see both sides. Maybe cut back the music. Only play it if there is copy right issues on the course. I like the top banner with the score and hole info. And the score card graphic between holes is ok as well.

I vote for no background music. I like the sounds of the course....the birds...crickets....music at the course...etc.....i would be ok with background music only when a copyrighted song plays at the course.
Elisha is without a doubt the best looking female golfer on "the circuit", and she doesn't have to carry a heavy bag and a dozen clubs! Great video and what looks like a huge amount of fun for the course.

They can't control the amount of ads in the video. They also get paid because of the ads as well as hits, so they couldn't be doing this if all the ads stopped.

They don't get paid if people skip the ads, so paid promotions are a way to ensure that their videos are financially worth their time and effort to make. If you really like a CZcams channel, then don't skip the adds so they get paid.

Just to add my honest feedback. I love you guys, but I couldn't watch this video the whole way through. That's a first for me on your channel. The music is really obnoxious and drowns out your talking. The scores at the top of the screen is fine, especially if it's easier for you to edit (vs. names/scores sometimes jumping all over the screen!) The scorecard graphic between holes is fine but I don't think you need it, it interrupts the video and makes it feel less immersive for me. Same with the pop-up 'lets go' and 'aw no' text on the screen. Also I agree with the person who said it feels like this video got sped up in the edit somehow, it all feels fast. I'm one of the people who watch your videos to relax and most of this editing style just amps up the anxiety for me, it's mini golf, not extreme sports. BUT having said all of that... if it gets you more views/subscribers then ofc go for it, if that's your goal. I personally would not be able to carry on watching if every video is in this style, but I understand you trying it and I appreciate the effort that went into making it.
