MvC2 Beginner's Guides: Jill

- A general overview and introduction of Jill.
Jill is a really interesting character. Her moveset is heaven for players that love reset-heavy combos and flexibility. Her Kinsetsu Sentou super is really good to DHC into / from. She also has the best healing assist in the game. Unfortunately, if you dont enjoy playing around setting up the unblockable zombie combos, she might not be the character for you.
This is not meant to be an advanced guide, as i do not know enough about the character to go in-depth.

I can’t conceive how they didn’t think to let her use a gun at all outside of counters but cable got it off his fuckin heavy punch.

Jill can shoot the Tyrant during the T-002 super, if you spend 1 bar with Rocket Launcher

It’s absolutely satisfying that the flame zombie is unblockable, forcing the opponent to either take the hit or dodge into another attack. It’s perfect!

If MvC2 gets rereleased, I’d love to try Jill. She looks like a good character to play. Also you forgot the extension Jill can do off her T-002 super.

i avoided using the mvc3 themes for these, i just think older bitcrushed songs match the look of the game better

@@CJ00014 Generally, no. Depending on what game you're playing that kind of input will have different kinds of timings to it. Most of the time something like half-circle back is including the down+forward and down+back inputs because games like these were designed with an arcade stick in mind. As someone who also plays on pad, I'd advise that for any fighting game special move input that you roll your thumb across each of the buttons in a single motion similar to how you would if you were doing it with the analog stick. I know it sounds totally alien compared to any other kind of video game, but that's what works. Individually pressing the buttons on a d-pad one at a time in a sequence isn't gonna do anything no matter how fast you do it
Jill's movelist makes the least amount of sense.
