@@kaibe5241 Honestly, I don't think so. I just finished opening 3 boxes of CRU, and in my second box I had both the Shard AND shiyana. You can see more detailed stats if you go to the FAB TCG Europe group on FB. Box 1 Pack 1 already gave me double majestic. Also found the Tunic in box 1. So, in 2 boxes, I picked the three "best" drops. Sometimes sheer dumb luck has a way.
The art is really good. This is the first nonmagic TCG that got me interested.

Yeah, exactly. That was my initial concern with the game, and as soon as I opened my first few packs, the concern faded away!
Coming back to this video now after I am fully into the game after the Monarch release, and all I can say is holy cow what an insane box. Shard, Crunic, 3 foil majestics one of them being spoils

Ray Lanza I think they do a lot of “collector edition” stuff now and it’s mostly all foils. Just certain products though. I haven’t played since the 90s though, I could be totally wrong lol

@@JKX888 they're nice but hardly "i win" buttons. like the effect of the Heart of Fyendal is good if you're lower on hp but not worth it if you're ahead as its just a slightly better cracked bauble in that situation. They're mostly for collectors.
Yeah, and apparently this set isn't even out yet, so there was zero information on the card he got. But it appears to be at least $500. Though, with that effect, it could very well be a $1k card.

Interesting they labelled the box as "1st edition", but I didn't notice the cards themselves having any identifier. I do like the security shrinkwrap though.
The only 1st edition cards that will really matter are the cold foils. 2nd edition print runs will replace cold foiling with regular rainbow foiling. Equipment, Legendaries, and Fabled are the cards with Cold Foiling in the first two sets - I'm not so sure about CoW and future sets. Cold Foil Hero cards would be sweet.
The art is so good that i kind of want to buy 1 box and add it to collection where i just look at the cards.

The rarity and different grading variants and pitch costs makes this game feel a lot like what MMOs have been missing the mark on over the last 20+ years.

Your game is so eerily similar to a game I created about 8 years ago, and It’s great.
Do you guys remember a game called, GunZ the Duel? You can party quest on raids with a group of 4 to hunt for loot and high end treasure against quest maps, and Bosses.
Perhaps consider a promotional format play through where Judges/Hosts are in control of a Boss/Quest deck and 4 other Heroes can unite to fight against the Quest/Boss. Later on if it’s successful you can sell those as products and groups at home can run through the Quests/Bosses as a play group. Can lead into Campaigns even. Etc.
Could be a fun healthy way to get High values cards out into the hands of players, while keeping an interesting PvE format for the game outside of PvP.
(If anyone at LSS would like to discuss game mechanics in detail and such I would be more than interested and willing to consult.)
This is the TCG D&D/Pathfinder players need and should enjoy.
Disclaim: Just suggestions and I am obviously a no body lol.
realy liking the idea of a coop tabletop add on, even if it would cost 100 euros but than it shouldn't be like the unsanctioned stuff we got from WoTC. At this price I would want it to be a fleshed out game withe a story + ways to influence the story as you're set in a coop campaign, an actual board to play on maybe with generic miniatures etc. a bit like Andor or The Dwarfs, I think you know what I mean + wouldn't mind if I would need to own decks to be able to use it as it's only meant as an add on to the card game.
but before I can dream about all of that I will have to wait for flesh and blood to even reach germany,...

Fabled card is about 1/40 Boxes
Legendary has been 1/4 Boxes for the other sets, probably rarer for this set as theres only 2 for the whole set.
He got both in the 1 box....

This is a custom box. The website doesn't state any tokens within the box yet their is a runechant at around 3:30. I wouldn't have bothered even looking into it but he pulled a fabled and a Legendary, both with a 1 in 8 boxes or per 2 cases.

The difference here is in CRU, tunic is 1 of only 2 legendaries.

@@afspeellijstnaruto It's become quite large quite fast considering it's only about a year old. I would say Arknight Shard is worth about 4k, not 5k. But there are also a couple of cards more expensive, the most expensive one I have seen a confirmed sale for 13k.
There are a lot of reasons why the game has exploded. Part of it is the recent explosion of value in all collectibles due to covid, crypto currency booms, stimulus checks, you name it.
The game was designed from the ground up with a stand in for the MTG reserve list, which is Cold Foils in the first edition sets. These Cold Foils are exactly the same for gameplay purposes as their counterparts in the Unlimited printings of the set, but in Unlimited they will be in Rainbow Foil or nonfoil. Because the Cold Foil variants of these cards are more rare than other variants, they are naturally collectible.
The game is quite good and has attracted a large following very quickly, a significant number of which came from old MTG or Rudy, and are thus cardboard investor types. The game is also aimed at a slightly older audience and I think a lot of the people playing were around when black lotus was a 50-90 dollar card and they don't want to miss out if this is the next big card game.
Combine all of this with the internet allowing for the spread of information and for people to price in months or years of speculated growth ahead of time(based on the idea of print run size and approximate rarity of cards), and you have a perfect storm for a tiny card game most people had not heard of 6 months ago to explode into something huge in a very short time. Now hopefully they can just print enough of the Unlimited sets to satisfy the insane demand the game has right now lol.

Rudy, did ya notice that the 1 hand weapons come in two versions, a left hand and a right hand! they are the same for card mechanics, only made that way for board appearance one on each side of the Hero.

This game is a ton of fun. Takes a minute to get used to the mechanics but once you do it's awesome. Something different than the typical magic setup. By the way Rudy probably opened about $800 + in value with the Gem and spring tunic alone. The tunic from the other set was around $300.00 and most fabled cards (assuming it's a fabled) are going for about $500+. I have opened a ton of packs and still don't have a Legendary or Fabled card and he gets one of each. FML.

Insane artworks though, really makes you appreciate the older MTG artworks too, when they had the balls to be more daring as well instead of playing it so safe.

@@lum26akua28 Well, it's a newer game by almkost 30 years, meaning it has a lot of lessons from game design over the past 30 years baked in. It does away with massive flaws like mana drought/flood, it's an incredibly interactive back-and-forth game, I could go on and on :)

From looking at the cards, it looks a lot more limited than Magic. Of course Magic has a lot more cards, but it doesn't take away from it being limited if that is the case.
@@lum26akua28 it WAS limited, and yet still so much creative potential. Crucible of War has changed everything. And come November when unlimited is in EU/Canada, you can trust what I'm saying right now - come back in January - Flesh & Blood is gonna be the official new kid on the block, and it's gonna be catching up on MTG.
