Thank you so much! Only just seen this. Diagnosed with Parkinson's 6 months ago and this is a great workout making me feel much more positive! It really helps

Thank you Joe for raising awareness of PD and the importance of exercise to help with the symptoms. Thank you too to Carol for talking so honestly.
This workout can be done by anyone, you can tone down the moves or make them more advanced. I enjoyed this one with its variations on the usual moves. Thanks so much Joe x

Thanks Joe & Carol for making this video and keeping it real. I was diagnosed 5 years ago and ‘found’ exercise 2 years ago. This workout gives me fresh challenges - I was ready for the next level! I agree with Carol’s encouraging words - even 5 minutes is better than nothing.

I was inspired to watch this by a colleague at work,i have Parkinson's and i will be doing these daily from now on.
Balance is a bigger challenge than i thought. You don't realise how Parkinson's has affected various parts of your body.

Note for if I do this again. It has a warm-up. This was just enough for me as I’m struggling with a cold. Thanks again Joe x

Unfortunately everyone with PD cannot exercise at this level. My hwp can only do the minimum before becoming exhausted. Brilliant for people who are just starting out on the Parkinson’s journey.

He can slowly work up to greater intensity. He may not be able to do this but he can work up but he must do something every day!!!

You obviously don’t understand how Parkinson’s progresses. He cycled the Tour de France routes and in the Pyrenees 6 years ago. Now he can only manage 10 mins walking at the most.

My husband has had Parkinson's diagnosis for over three years and he is doing it. I am very aware how Parkinson's progresses. He has been exercising a lot since his diagnosis. Exercise is the only way to keep the symptoms down.

Dear Joe, I wonder if you could do a similar tailored workout for those who have heart conditions? Many of us are young and were active before our heart issue (I did one of your online workouts before leaving home to attend my CT angiogram which I wasn't allowed home from because I was a walking heart attack haha). Thank you.

Love this workout. Any advice on how to manage the timing when not in fromt of a computer? Is there perhaps an app that will time 40 seconds/20 seconds continuously?

  • @craig6460

Well this is clearly too much for those who have physically declined due to PD. My dad couldn't manage even the first 5 minutes of this.
Do your research Joe. Not everyone woth PD has the level of mobility required for this workout.
