30 seconds in and you’ve literally explained what I just told myself a few days ago about having an adhd mind, needing people mind, creative mind, etc. I definitely needed to hear those words beyond therapy for some reason. Thank you so much. I find myself to be locked in for such a short period of time during the day but at least I know what it feels like and hope to grow that feeling.

@@vittorianesse this is just my opinion, but I feel bad for people who are just in marketing. Like what is your actual skill beneath that? Marketing is constantly shifting. It’s a spectator sport.
Not to pump my own tires, but I like to think I understand marketing plus have a whole creative skillset under my belt. Can you imagine just deeming your claim to fame is marketing???? Which I suppose is fine if you work at a faceless corporation… But not if you’re trying to do what is being discussed in this video.
Currently studying industrial design and just wanted to say I’ve learned a ton of good info through the brand strategies you talk about. I think a lot of talented creatives overlook the business end and only want to focus on making things which I totally get but for me personally, I think mastering business is crucial for both getting more opportunities and being more free financially to make things that reach a wider audience. Fortunately my school bakes in some of these entrepreneurship ideals into the courses but not nearly to the level you’re going over especially with marketing.
Yeah need the balance. Theres a whole culture of “stay true to the art it will come” but yet is just… not how it works for 99% who want to be successful

09:25 Read the book by Steven Pressfield: The Art of War
10:33 Fight distractions by limiting screen time
11:47 Fight every ounce: Where is my time wasted? (Write down where I'm spending time.)
11:58 Apply constraints by focusing on completing one task related to your goal every day
12:44 For every project, do one thing a day, and stay consistent
13:39 Establish a contract with yourself and hold yourself accountable to not waste a single day
14:21 List out what you want to do within the next five years, and which ones are the most important that you won’t want to violate the contract with yourself. (How do I achieve this goal and move the ball forward every day?)
15:02 Example: Do one t-shirt design a day, do a piece of art a day.
15:08 Habit stack?
15:37 Create a 90-day plan. Break down the goal, list all the things you have to get done to achieve that goal. Break those achievements down into habits and create a checklist. Do one thing on the list every single day.

16:19 Create a place (command center) where you can put your tasks, references, and projects. Example:
16:32 Create a kanban-like structure so you have oversight on what you're working on and have some level of tracking and accountability.

Currently stuck in the corporate rat race 9-5 and about to quit my $200K job. It’s eating my soul alive.. In fintech and banking. But it’s time.. Bro can you make a video about how to start. I feel like I’m at a place where I’m living check to check and my full time job takes all my time and energy and now that I have a kid it feels impossible to get enough time. I wake up at 4am just to get an hour to myself each morning but I have so many projects and vision it feels like it’s spread so thin. At a macro level I completely degree - at brief periods in your life trying to take the jump to the next level, too many people justify not going hard but having to live up to some healthy standard that’s in their heads that holds them back from a few weeks of sleepless nights that might change their life

It’s annoying because people who don’t encourage cohesiveness are always in charge. Just got laid off by a weed company that is actively selling mid and 50%+ of their wax is from mold weed

If you’re already consistent, up the quality and put time in between - but if you’re not consistent I feel like it’s daily or nothing until you are
Yes. To achieve the metrics this guy has you need to make content that middles "low-effort" content and "potentially valuable" content on the venn diagram. You need high output, which means lower effort, which means ultimately you're not being creative for yourself, but rather to feed the machine in a way that works with your schedule and doesn't burn you out quickly. Then, after you have a following, maybe you can risk higher quality/production-value content.
I took a peek at this guys insta. It's very mild marketing stuff, possibly using a bit of GPT for inspiration. He greenscreens himself over other brands' material, pulls moments from long-form podcasts (getting double exposure from a single source material) and makes minimal edits (automatic captions using capcut, no sound design, and simple cutting/splicing). Sure, he records his screen too. Pair all that with him being a good talker and its no wonder he's got a following. He's got a very smart strategy. However, he has no business talking to "creatives," as marketing and the arts are opposites, in my opinion. One has soul, the other takes souls.
Sorry for the long-winded comment. But the strategy for you and I will come down to figuring out that venn diagram before we can truly create what we want to create. Otherwise, create simply for you, which is the most honest way to derive fulfillment and self-enrichment
