Omg I love you. Every other car repair video is so boring and unnecessarily long. Thank you for being fun and concise!

Cause of my misfire at start was fuel injectors #2 & #3. Just putting it out there, when I removed the injectors #1 & #4 where a lot cleaner.
    2,3 had major carbon.
Your video is helpful! Misfires are major concern on TFSI
    1) spark plugs
    2) coil packs
    3) vacuum leaks
    4) crank case vent
    5) fuel injectors
Off coarse given you have good compression test in all 4.

Thank you for a great time saver of a video. I had the P0302 on my VW CC and my web search led me to your video . I took your advice and went straight for plugs and coils packs. The car now runs fantastic.

Thank you Sir! Just subscribed to your channel, after I watched about 10 different videos from several different channels that gave no real advice, just a lot of bullshit. I have an Audi Q5. Two different repair shops wouldn’t even attempt to look at my car. Finally Firestone guy said to bring the car to them, I did and they kept me waiting almost 5 damn hours. Now I understand shit takes time and no one likes to be around a demanding impatient asshole that’s chosen to wait on a car diagnosis and or repair. After 3 hours they finally moved my car close to a bay. Hood and door open, technician plugged in the scanner. I waited another hour, noticed no one around my car and the mechanic had started working on another car. Ok. I asked the service advisor if he had any information or update, he replied yeah, they are still in the diagnostic stages. Ok. After FOUR & 1/2 Hour’s of WAITING, I asked again for an update, still no one around my car, hood open, door open, scanner plugged in, he once again said, yeah man were still in the diagnostic stages of finding out what’s wrong. I walked out to my car, politely asked a few mechanics that were eating lunch about my car, they said the guy working on it left a couple hours ago, not sure if he’s coming back? Well Fuck that! I told the service advisor to unplug their scanner and give me my car back. I was charged $139 for a diagnostic fee. No codes given to me nor any diagnostic or repair information whatsoever. I paid, drove next door to an Auto Parts store, guy came out, plugged in a small scanner, said Code 303, and explained what that was. No charge.
***Right now I’m still at the Auto Parts store and after watching your video, I’ll replace all spark plugs and if need be replace the coil. Thanks for allowing me to Vent, I sincerely appreciate your expert knowledge and the fact that you are sharing said knowledge.***. Thanks again, Mike

@@Seriesxnation I still do not know what’s wrong w my car. Parked for all this time. Our local AUDI dealership informed me that there is a 2 MONTH waiting list, then they informed me that they would not work on my car because it’s over 10 years old. Something about only using OEM PARTS and they may not be available for my older car. So…, I found another repair shop and will take my car there and LEAVE. They also have a long waiting list but will work on this older car. Very frustrating. I have hung a couple of parts on my car to no avail. I believe the downstream O2 sensor, passenger side is screwed up causing the issues. I’m not gonna hang any more parts. I need a professional to diagnose and repair. Mine is the 3.2 and when it’s running good, it’s a great driving car and I still want the car, but after repair I’m seriously considering selling it and buying a newer AUDI. Mine is the Generation 1, Q5, 3.2 Turbo. It’s a Love Hate relationship. I do have 250,000 miles on the car and honestly believed I would be able to maintain this car. More involved than I ever thought. Oh, very possibly a Fuel injector gone bad #3 cylinder, but again maybe the O2 sensor is causing this problem. Stopped driving, don’t wanna screw up something else.
Did you get your car repaired?

@@Seriesxnation P0303, if it’s not the coil or spark plug. It could be a number of things. Agree on professional diagnosis. Save money not hanging parts. I did replace the coil and spark plug w OEM. Didn’t help. I’m still waiting to get mine in the shop. Good luck, we may need a little luck.

@@MW1_2_3 ya my guess recently based on all my research even from other forum owners is after the coil, spark plug it’s most likely the fuel injector gone bad. After that might as well prey lol 😂 but for 250k miles on ur car that’s a lot and it’s not the 02 sensor because it tells u it’s an 02 sensor I’ve replaced that 3 years ago

I read that misfires codes are detected by the crankshaft position sensor & how much the engine slows down between cylinders firing.
With misfiring on my B6 ALT, but no codes thrown up, I replaced coils & plugs ( quite worn ) the new coils fixed the problem. Did cam cover gasket too.
Meanwhile on B6 ASN , cam codes, Missfire, camshaft timing was out, fixing that ( easy with tool ) fixed cam sensor codes. VC solenoids needed cleaning too. Now just misfiring 4-6, needs new coils., Replaced plugs. Cleaned injectors ,& MAF & replaced CVS valve.
Coil on plug tester would be usefull for quick coil diagnosis. ( Looks like pistol with tiny fly away on it, cheapish. Or $$$ ollisiscope sort to check voltage ramp etc. )

I have an OBDeleven tool that scan my codes and I must say I have a unique problem I don’t think many mechanics seen this nor can I find any research on it but I have codes p000A witch has prolonged a little prior to my car break down, p0300, p0303, p0304, witch those two cylinder always take turn between active and in active, and lastly a tricky p0087 codes. With this information I must include that my car shakes horribly bad and smokes blue. I took it to a mechanic and honestly they just tried to make money off me by saying the problem was way worse. They concluded piston rings witch isn’t true I think Bc I’ve had no symptoms of them going bad prior to my break down. I was thinking a leaking cylinder head cover but I’m not for sure. It’s hard to actually diagnose. This take some high level knowledge for sure I hope you can reach out NaptownTuner

Hi Naptown, like your videos! I have a 2012 VW CC 2.0 tsi, recently I am experiencing a hard time because when deeping the accelerator, cylinder 2 misfire increased quickly and the engine is shaking. sparks and coils are OK, and I did the cylinder compression test and all 4 cylinders are around 130 psi which is not good but not that bad. I am thinking if there is anything wrong with the fuel injector in cylinder 2.... any suggestions will be appreciated!

I have been trying to solve a intermittent miss fire issue where the car dives great and then will randomly misfire where the rpms drop in & out for a few seconds then is fine again. This may happen multiple times in succession and then not happen again for a day or 2. I have been surfing forums and youtube and have tried all of the solutions that had similar symptoms with no success. Things I have done so far: spark plugs, coils, fuel lines, fuel filter, carbon clean, cleaned injectors, clean MAF and no solution. Any advice on what to try next would be appreciated.

I have a 2010 audi a5 2.0t in the shop, 150k miles. Came in running crappy and intake flap faults. Customer authorized intake replacement and carbon clean, prolly worst valves Ive ever seen. Afterwards we drove it to clear out everything and when you really get on it (close to redline) it starts to misfire cylinder 2 (looks like a lean miss based off of HT lead and pico waveforms). Replaced coils plugs injectors with new OEM bosch/NGK and issue persists. All in-cylinder analysis waveforms look fine i cannot figure it out... it only misfires if you floor it thru the whole rpm range and right around 5.5k rpm it starts to flash misfire cyl 2. I also feel like i smell burning oil when it happens.. anyone experience this?
