In the manga Wallace is straight and he likes Winona. Actually, he gave up on his Champion title to become a gym leader in order to be as near to Winona as possible. And the manga is said to be the closest storyline to the actual lore of the pokemon games. There are some differences, but still.

I don't accept this ship. They have like 8 years age gap cause steven is 25 while cynthia is 33!! It's confirmed but people nowdays ship anyone with anybody, so can't do anything about it😶. But still 8 years are too much.
I searched and cynthia is said to be in her 20s too. She also has a younger sister that is on her late teens I think. I'm not sure we're did I found that, I searched it a long time ago. Also, in the games cynthia was confused to be the protagonist's older sister, and the protagonists are like 15 at most. So it makes sense.
