Putting New Carpet In The Jeep!!!

- Hey Everyone its Cassie From Jeep Gear and Gadgets and in this video i install some Bedrug Carpet into the LJ. The previous owner removed the carpet, and instead of bedlining it or going with OEM Carpet i decided to use Bedrug. I am really happy with how it turned out, and i think we will put some in the JK now as well. Stay tuned for more videos and let me know what you want to see next!!

Got hypnotized by watching you put in the carpets, didn't hear a thing you said till you got to the rear floor mat install, then I snapped out of it when I heard '...2 hand job.. Looks good, still have OEM in mine, but this could be the alternative if they start going south. Would love to see the rock lights install, as I'm looking to do this soon myself.

I had a carpet in my 98 and I got sick of trying to clean the carpet so took it out and Rhino lined it looks great helps with noise after I replaced my front driver side floor pan that's what I did Rhino lined it from front back .

Nice job- I just bought a set for my daughters JK. I really enjoy Ben’s videos and after he suggested watching your BedRug Install in his last video I checked it out and bought them.
I gotta say- The only thing I struggle with is all the comments I’m reading from guys talking about your pants and looks- I don’t get the utter disrespect- you are married to Ben- most people watching probably know that- so why are they making inappropriate comments. Thanks for another great product vid! Look forward to the follow up. How easy will it be to wash mud out of them? I'm guessing they are held in with velcro and those weren't just adhesive strips?
From what I have heard, people vacuum or rinse it with a hose. I’ll have to see which works best next time I go off roading. And yes, they are Velcro’d down.

Been 5 months, have you got them dirty yet and how do they hold up? Mine are still sitting in the box in my living room but plan to install them before Memorial trip to uWharrie .
Amazing! Do you need to put primer and paint down first before the carpet? Or that was just your preference?
Just preference since the old paint wasn’t in the best shape!

I got rid of my '97 TJ's carpet years ago. I sanded, primed, and then painted with matching Rust-Oleum the floor. Then got direct-fit rubber mats. They are the best way to go.

Whats going to be done to fix the steering geometry since the LJ has cavfab crossover steering, I have the same steering system and been wondering wondering if cavfab's $300 OTA track bar system is worth it. Thumbs up on the bedrug install!

Just installed the Bedrug - I was underwhelmed. Its ok but not worth the cost! Waaaaay too expensive for what you get.

That’s the great thing about bedrug, it is secured with Velcro, so easily removable to clean if and when needed.
