  • As specialist financial recruiters, we often get asked for interview advice by candidates, and there are also 1000’s of articles detailing generic interview questions.
However, we thought we would ask FDs and CFOs what questions they like to ask Credit Controllers.
This video details some of their interview questions. We hope you find it useful.

I listened to the answers, email/email is good but to me phone is the most effective and building a relationship but knowing when to escalate or not is a balancing act as this can break the relationship.

If these characters are having continual problems with certain customers, why are they doing business with them in the first place?
It's their fault for not taking due diligence in their commercial dealings rather than for a CC to sort out the mess they have got themselves into!

It depends on the business and what sort of clients you are approaching, often times I prefer that the sales person picks up the phone on my behalf they could easily bring more revenue and at the same time use that leverage to settle any outstanding much easier for you and the client win win 🏆
