I listened to the answers, email/email is good but to me phone is the most effective and building a relationship but knowing when to escalate or not is a balancing act as this can break the relationship.
I applied for this role but I have no experience before. I hope I do good in tomorrow interview🙏

@@traciava7681 I mean the interview went well but I am a student can't work full time + they needed a person who had a little experience so yea I didn't get it but after I finish my studies I'll apply at another firm. Ill see what I can do
Credit Controller..
He should understand the business.
Try to correct the things from the beginning... Credit Policy, Credit Rating and Customers Status.
He should understand importance of customers.
Good Relationship with operation guys as well as finance.guys.
Eagle eye on Sales and collection all the time.
If these characters are having continual problems with certain customers, why are they doing business with them in the first place?
It's their fault for not taking due diligence in their commercial dealings rather than for a CC to sort out the mess they have got themselves into!
I had an interview and this was my point throughout the interview but I ended up not being hired
It depends on the business and what sort of clients you are approaching, often times I prefer that the sales person picks up the phone on my behalf they could easily bring more revenue and at the same time use that leverage to settle any outstanding much easier for you and the client win win 🏆
