I’ve come to appreciate Phil’s fondness for Dan’s shriek laughs so much more since taking film editing classes and learning how easy it is to reduce the sound of something. It’s something they literally teach the first day. Letting Dan blow out our eardrums is a choice Phil makes. Because those moments are Dan being too funny to edit.

Dan truly had my favorite transformation on the internet. The fact that a lot of us were young when we started watching D&P means we grew up with them and ended up coming into ourselves at the same time they both came out. Seeing someone who, for most of our formative years kept this giant secret about themselves, be so casually open now, is oddly emotional.
The real reason Dan & Phil have lived together for so long wasn’t because they’re best friends or enjoy each other’s company but because Dan’s the only one who’s been able to keep Phil alive this whole time.
This implies that others have tried and failed to keep Phil alive, meaning that Phil has been revived from the dead at least once

I fell out of Dan and Phil a while back but used to be obsessed with them (went to both tours, bought both books plus hundreds worth of merch, watched every video 100s of times and surrounded my life with them) but this came up on my recommended and I gotta admit, while they may not be my thing anymore just watching them be screaming, friendly and stupid brought me back to when times were simpler, easier and when I was younger. Even if it was for 20 minutes it was a nice break to truly forget about everything and be a young teen again
