    Mai jing jing is the name given to cicadas by the A·chik community of the Garo Hills.
    The reimagined version of the rhyme sung by the children is an ode to the
    innocence of childhood spent in the comfort of nature. This video brings the beloved local rhyme to life through animation.

    It is the second storybook by the Forgotten Folklore Project of Sauramandala Foundation to be adapted into an animated video version.
