I love when Liz lets us in her head and hear her thoughts & visions. This single, longer project is great for hearing her ideas and seeing the realness when things don't always look perfect on the first try, but turn out beautifully in the end. Her trial & error shows she's really just like us!

I carry on our family tradition of putting all the ornaments given to us from the time we were young until the present. My husband and I are 61 and have over 50 years of ornaments, all different shapes and designs.

To each her own. I got some great ideas, but I like my tree to be a giant memory. The photo ornaments of the kids, ornaments from places we visited, ornaments my mom gave me and so on. If there is a branch sticking out - it has got SOMETHING on it. I love it. The rest of the house I still stay with traditional red, white gold green, silver.

Your tree is beautiful!! Thank you for all the tips! I don’t have a specific color on my tree…I use ornaments we have had since we got married and have added to each of our 53 years. The angel on the top of our tree my husband’s grandmother bought for us our first Christmas…it is very special!!

I don’t go by color or theme. My tree always have my kids ornaments they made in school, they’re in their 40’s now but still like to see them. I was stationed in Germany, years ago, and returned a couple years ago so I have ornaments from there that I put on as well. Mine is just a menagerie, the way I like it. But I do have a lot of ornaments!

I must be a few years behind. I got a new 9ft flocked tree and I'm going with red & black buffalo check, white & black buffalo check with red, white, black ornaments. Touches of rusted galvanized deco. I've probably over bought but looking forward to putting it up.

We started a tradition w/our grandkids last yr. We made memory ornaments, the clear plastic ones. They each had to bring something that was just them; like an Xbox, a mini motorcycle, etc. one that will be theirs when they grow up. I’m still looking for ideas for this year, but I asked them what they thought of using one of Their Socks that doesn’t have a match anymore, We All Have Those!! We can make.Gnomes! They Loved that idea! So, I guess we’re going with Gnomes!

I usually do a winter wonderland theme with blue , white, and silver. It's my favorite and goes with my beach theme living room. In 2020 I left my tree up all year and changed the décor
each month so my tree has had it, it was like being up for 12 years! Once I pull it out this thanksgiving, it may end up in the trash. We're also newley empty nesters now so maybe something smaller this year. Nightmare before Christmas theme has always been a dream so maybe this is the year for that. Watching your videos gives me lots of ideas and I can't wait to start planning. Thank you.

Very nice. Love the colours. This year I'm letting my grandkids (5 and 2 ) Decorate my tree. Their father and Auntie got a Christmas ornament every year since they were born and I have them all saved. Most of the ornaments are hallmark ornaments. There is a Barbie holiday collection, and the ornament that came out from hallmark. I think there are around 40 ornaments. So we have to see how it will turn 😏..lol.

You taught me how to ribbon my tree last year when I first found your channel! Peeps like me, with no creative talent at all, do what we can. For example, last year I did what you’re doing by laying one ribbon atop another. To get it stay, I busted out my stapler and stapled it together in a few places. Then I tucked those pieces into the tree. It was my proudest creative moment.😬

Oh Liz I just LOVE it!! It's so cozy & beautiful! I've been using a Snowflake with blues color scheme for the last couple of years since I acquired a couch from my mother, which I always loved, that has a pattern with blues, pinks, off-white & a little burgundy. This year I'm going to try to add some ribbon, maybe that pop of burgundy & get some burgundy pillow covers. Anyway, thank you so much for all the great ideas. Your videos are so fun! Love & prayers from Iowa! 💙 🙏

Beautiful! This year I bought or made trees of different colors, styles and textures! My main Christmas tree this year is a pencil style pallet tree that my brother helped me build. I had a vision and I went with it! ❤️❤️❤️

Your tree is beautiful! This year I think I am going to do something like peacock feather colors so blues, teal, some gold (mostly jewel toned). I really really hope it works out! Love to change up my tree every year as well.
