I am very new to the circle, but man do I love you guys. You and your husband are so real and authentic, it is so refreshing to watch. Not only do I get comic relief from you guys, I think you give good advice, too! I SO needed this podcast! Thank you so much!
You know what, here is one of the warmest, healthiest, most comforting community. I forgot how nice ppl can be online. I started few months ago with insanely chill. Luv it❤
Yappers unite! I love when people talk as much as (or more than) I do
literally just graduated from college and moved to a new place so i am very much looking forward to this episode seeing the title
Dang, she’s HITTING them notes. We’ve missed your beautiful voice the most 💜
Being a Mom = a life of being in service. I have 2 adult children now. Being a safe container for my kids, was/is the most fulfilling thing ive done in my life. Being a loving presence is more than enough❤🎉
On the topic of making friends after college--when you said to "recognize who you connect with and act on it" is such valid advice. It's so easy to take casual interactions for granted, especially when you want to make friends. I'm starting to do more of that now, and absolutely loving the community I'm building.
And then to build off that--don't worry about group dynamic when you're making friends as an adult! I used to overthink it, and now I just invite whoever I want to a gathering and see what sticks! Often times in adulthood, you surround yourself with like-minded people already so they are bound to get along :)
This podcast has become such a comfort lately ❤️
You look so good in your motherhood era Kels!!
As an anxious girlie the preemptive puke bag really spoke to me😭😭

Love you. You've given me hope
I just wanna tell the lady from New Zealand that couldn’t get her thoughts out. You are a great mom and you are probably doing everything you possibly can to be a great mom ❤ we are rooting for you 🎉
I tend to talk a lot too! For me I think it’s my adhd, but I often feel insecure about how much or how little I talk! I feel like I can never find the right amount! 😂
Love hanging out with you on the pod, feels like catching up with a friend😭😍
Missed u kels. Rly needed this rn
love u kelsey, also love ur talks 💕
i watched the fall guy the other day too and i highly recommend finishing it!!! it was incredible
As an upcoming teacher, it felt so good hearing the advice Kelsey gave💗
About to start student teaching in first grade and this ep was so special and helpful :)
love you Kelsey
It’s circle time! 🧘🏽♀️
The question where she asked how to feel like you’re doing the right thing as a mom I FELT. I’m literally about to leave my husband (her father) and I know it’s the right thing to do. He’s verbally abusive but it’s so hard to come to terms with. it’s the best thing for us but mom guilt will never go away even when things get better. I feel bad for doing the right thing because I’m worried about her missing him:(
Kelsey is my roll model
“this ad is sponsored by byheart” yes my bimbo brain needs this level of explicitness
You've given a lot of great advice, but that last bit was awesome! I'm not interested in teaching, but if I was, that would make me feel so much better.
Use Connor’s linen wash to wash your purse! Can’t remember what it’s called. Will comeback when i remember
9:30 is so early Cody what 😭
Question:
How do i make friends in my 30s?
Im 32, and i feel like i dont really have friends who share my interests or lifestyle, or who even wanna hang out.
I thought of making friends based on my interests and hobbies as i enjoy football - thats "soccer" to some of u -, cycling and reading, but then i really dont wanna do those activities with other people. So no, im not gonna be cycling with a team, or joining a book club.
What do u suggest, guys?
Well if you evolve as a person, most of the times you wont feel you have a tone in common with highschool or college friends, so everyone has been in your situation.
Just think about any activity that you could share with people and show up there, study something, go to language exchange meetings, go to meet ups... Most of my very good friends are from my late 20s, early 30s, and I met them traveling , many of the travelers I met on the hostels happened to be from my same city.
I met some of them by taking music classes too, on a music school.
If you have some spiritual belief or are from.a religion then trying different churches works too
Have to share that after watching this video, I went out and threw up in my purse in the Uber 🩷
How am I just now realizing that Ko was so not Cody’s real surname 😊
i think you can't have 2 different names on instagram when you're verified
marzia was able to change hers though. or is this a new thing?
Nooo my voicemail didn’t get played :((
Ryan Gosling is the superior Ryan
🤍🤍
woah
the title being learning positive self-talk and the first thing you say is "so im an idiot". come on now
I will never understand why anyone would change their last name there is so many countries that don't. My mom never changed hers when she got married and I have both my parents last name, which I love because they both made me.
If you change your name on Facebook it changes on insta (only if they're linked)
