Police: Bank jugging suspicion leads to police pursuit

  • Two people died after a car pursued by Anne Arundel County police crashed in Washington, D.C., authorities said. County police told 11 News that officers on patrol in the Annapolis area amid recent robberies near banks and ATMs spotted a vehicle they believed to be involved with the investigation. Anne Arundel County Police said it has recorded 40 cases of "bank jugging" this year. Bank jugging is a type of robbery which targets a person who just walked out of a bank.

      Man, why do you need to be like this? I have lived in more crime-ridden cities than you could imagine, and I promise you, there are criminals of every race and creed. If you think white people aren't out robbing and killing folks, too, you're sorely mistaken. Despite being a mutt myself, I definitely look and sound like a white man, and even I had a misspent youth/early adulthood that could have landed me in prison. It isn't a race issue, it's a socioeconomic and access to education problem that plagues everyone in certain neighborhoods. This woman has dedicated herself to making us safer, and still you disparage her? That's just sad. I hope you learn a lesson in empathy real soon and grow to change your perspective. Look at your own username and learn to live it, we need peace and love not racism and ignorance.
