How did you not call this Thrash Bandicoot
DAMN.
Oh that's good.
Oh shi-
GET OUT
This is the best Crash Metal band
I always knew Crash's soundfont was metal af
Hell yeah, my guy.
Yeah have you ever heard cortex theme from 3.
Especially on Toxic Waste
Or Mystery Caves from CTR. That one even has a breakdown lmao
I want to see one that replaces every Hefield “Oooh” and “Yeah!” with Crash’s “Woah!”
Interesting. Might have to remaster it with that in mind down the road.
@@NevilleTheDevil361 I'll be waiting
@@NevilleTheDevil361 lmao remastered version XDDDDD
@@NevilleTheDevil361 repuppets version more like 😎👉👉
Pretty sure master of puppets on only has one “yeah”
I was wondering why it didn’t sound like Master of Puppets, then I looked at the timeline and saw that you didn’t just mean the song, you meant the whole dang album. Incredible.
Go big or go home.
@@NevilleTheDevil361 *Wo A H*
Could tell it was battery straight away from the intro battery is a better song anyway
lmfao I was wondering too
For me that's perfectly fine; the song is overrated, but the album as a whole is decent
Master of Puppets legit just sounds like a Doom track
Does He Know?
@@sevderg Yes.
I was coming to comment "better than doom ost" haha
maybe if this is the fist MIDI music you've heard aside fromthe doom soundtrack
John Romero famously aped a lot of his favorite rock music when making the original Doom. You should be able to find comparisons online. Makes sense that this would have the same vibe.
these are literally Guitar Pro 5 tabs lol
This takes me back lol
What do you think midis are?
the songs i made in guitar pro 5 are legendary
LMAO
@@rondomane yup. I used to make songs my band wrote, and then Lil' Wayne songs from Tha Carter 1 for my friends lol.
Damn, that's one stressful Crash level right there
If Crash was actually Dark Souls-level difficult.
@@NevilleTheDevil361 I’m not trying to act cool or anything when I say this, but I really don’t understand why people think Dark Souls is the hardest thing ever. Like sure, it’s hard, but as long as you have good timing mixed with a bit of rhythm, then it’s pretty easy to not die. And if you get good enough at it, it’ll be less so relying on rhythm and timing and more so boil down to raw instinct which is what I rely on.
Again, not trying to act cool, I promise. It’s just the difficulty of Dark Souls is a bit oversold, which isn’t to say the game itself is oversold, I love the Souls games, it’s just that people make it out as being the hardest thing ever which I feel puts a lot of people off from trying it.
@@ZorrotheArtist Having played a few times, I agree. I simply state it as the stereotype.
@@NevilleTheDevil361 Fair enough. Btw, which is your favorite of the original Crash trilogy? I personally like the first one the most, just has a lot more personality imo.
@@ZorrotheArtist I actually like the second game most. Still had the challenge, but the additions of the slide and body slam finally gave Crash more versatility.
The album cover isn't getting enough love
damage inc is literally the heaviest thing ive ever heard
You need to hear the version of Dream Theater doing it with the vocalist from Napalm Death. It's like the Cookie Monster doing metal 😂
On God, I made sure to have the album end with a final boss vibe of intensity. Needless to say, feel pretty proud of it.
@@AllThisOverASliceOfGabagool I didn’t know that was even a thing
@@NevilleTheDevil361 It sounded amazing what you did.
And yeah the DT/Barney version is absolute genius 🤣
@@AllThisOverASliceOfGabagool LMAO I LITERALLY JUST WATCHED THAT EARLIER
From the cover art to the songs this goes fucking hard, amazing job dude
Thanks, man! I try my best.
Sanitarium is insane. I love how grand yet sinister it sounds
Battery is very recharging, Master of Puppets is Masterful, The thing that should not be is the thing that should be, Sanitarium is (as you said) insane, Disposable heroes is the real solider of this album, Leper Messiah makes bow down, Orion takes the soul to space, and Damage Inc makes me want to start a demolishing business.
@@pratikmandal1350 Damn. Couldn’t have said it better myself.
@@pratikmandal1350 that my friend I agree
Sounds like something you'd hear when Cortex pulls a One-Winged Angel
Finally... an album that is not remade with the overused SM64 soundfont!!
You know it's gonna be a peaceful comment section when everyone has both an interest of Crash and Metallica in common lol
Honestly.
This is the best new Metallica album to come out this weekend.
Honestly, yeah. Didn’t buy the hype of 72 Seasons some people had. Shoot, honestly going to see the Arlington show live more for Pantera.
@@NevilleTheDevil361 You are actually missing out, not even an opinion, that's a fact.
Calm down.
@@GrayD_Fox I enjoyed parts of 72 Seasons, particularly the first 2 songs and Lux Aeterna. Most of it was too long.
Metallica has been dead for nearly four decades.
I thought it was just one song. No, no, no.
Man did the whole album...
Go big or go home.
This is, unironically, one of the best things I’ve found on CZcams in a long time
Orion IMO sounds the best, definitely final boss/final level music, sounds sooooo good! Great job!
I wanted to make sure that was as good as it could be. As a bassist, can’t be disrespectful to Cliff by half-assing it.
Orion... love that one
@@jackielarsen7862 AYO. If someone could mod that in, I’m all for it!
Missed opportunity to call it Metalliwoah
Welcome Home and Disposable Heroes sounds like something for a true final level
3:02 is genious, having the second voices on guitar instead of the primary ones. You can sing along the main riff with it quite nicely
love this version of battery because I'm able to identify those deceptive offbeats in the verse SO much better than in the original version. nice job!!!!
This is more than art this a masterpiece
shit sounds so good wtf 😭
Trial and error is crazy!
WAIT FUCJ STYNGIAN YOURE HERE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
@@syvalee5618 LMAO NO WAY
Orion would be on one of those levels where you get chased by something for sure
That "Orion" simply kills...!! 🤘🏻
(The wah in the first solo cracked me up, but in a good way 😄).
Definitely works way better than it should. The riff in "Disposable Heroes" that focuses around C# sounds weirdly fierce, maybe cause it sounds like silly voices.
Cover goes fkn hard 🔥
Right?! I remember seeing this art from the Crash Team Racing art cinematic, and it just clicked with Master.
i wasn’t expecting battery to pique my interest the way it did, but god damn.
i love how the riff in disposable heroes just became a mosquito lmao. love soundfont edits so much, i can't wait formore
The slow part of master of puppets just before the first solo sounds amazing. It’s amazing how well this fits in general.
Also I’d pay legit money for this version of Orion as a ringtone
I love CZcams to recommend this to me
Damage Inc. is the Auditory representation of trying to get the platinum relic on Stormy Ascent
Pretty much my brain playing that level even normally, let alone trying to plat that level.
Damn this Sanitarium hits focking hard
RIGHT?
This playing in the background while Crash is about to show Cortex some hands woah woah *WOAH*! lol.
Crash really has had enough of the Dr.’s shit.
Orion was definitely my favorite here. Its my favourite in the actual album and holds up insanely well here too. Its got final level and final boss music written all over it. Kinda reminded me of going thro7gh the volcano in the first Sly Cooper game.
This is basically the original Doom's soundtrack
Only thing that's closer to the OG Doom OST is Master of Puppets in the Doom soundfont lmao.
I listened to this album on repeat as a teenager, still goes hard as a midi tune man. Great job!
My mind is now picturing a Crash Bandicoot themed mod for Doom
This is peak Crash Bandicoot content
Well done
Crashery, Master of Cortex, The time that should not be(Crash bandicoot 4), Quantumtarium, Warped hero(Crash 3), wumpa messiah, Orient express, Aku inc.
What would make this even better is if all the vocals were "Woah!"
Leper Messiah sounding nefarious as hell
Uga buga! This is genius 🤘
Who knew even a wild bandicoot could have a better bass mix than Cliff Burton
Two crazy SOB’s. Runs in the genes.
You mean Jason bro🤦♂️
@@seffers4788 You…You do know Cliff Burton was the bassist on this album, right?
@@NevilleTheDevil361 Yes but Jason’s mix on Justice is what people complain about. That’s what I assumed he meant. Mix is perfect on Puppets
@@seffers4788 Cliff is really low in all 3 of his albums. Compared to other metal albums at the time, the bass is barely there. (Except for any of his lead parts)
It’s just that since then bass has become even less prominent on metal albums. (Partly due to downtuning)
Gotta be honest, I was expecting the entire thing to be nothing but pitch-shifted "WHOA'S." A very pleasant surprise.
Oogah boogah boogah!🔥 🔥 this must of taken so long and it was worth it! Sounds amassing! I also loved this game growing up. I like how you used different synth for the vocals for each track
Thanks! It was pretty grueling. I was still trying to learn the proper instruments to blend to make it feel like it came from the OG Trilogy, which now is my main goal making these. This was my first all-around success at it feeling like a part of the Crash series, and one of my proudest works so far.
Damage Inc in this soundfont sounds like a legendary Pokemon encounter theme song
Irony is, it has a similar rhythm pattern to the Champion’s theme from Silver/Gold/Crystal.
This was something I really didn't know that I needed. Ended up being a lot cooler than expected.
Glad you liked it! I try my best.
Crash is metal! Remember playing the the PS1 games while jamming out to Metallica back in the 90s!🤘
Imagine listening to this while constantly dying on "Road To Nowhere" on Crash 1......
Now I want to play Crash Bandicoot with this
The 'Thing That Should Not Be' sounds like a boss theme.
boss intro from Contra xD
The Thing That Should Not Be sounds like classic DooM level
Oh god, orion sounds so cool!
This works so well! lol, I want to hear so many of my favorite metal albums in the Crash and Spyro soundfonts now.
I got you! Cookin’ it up on the weekends.
I’m so glad to be alive to experience this 😂❤
Disposable heroes got me headbanging for real. This actually kicks ass!
ooh geezus.. the nightmares of my childhood came back.. the levels were as difficult as the music sounds awesome, i swear!!
The Thing That Should Not Be always reminded me of Cortex theme the the lab theme to begin with.
Battery, MoP and Messiah go astronomically hard, holy crap xD. Been recommended a lot of those vids, but this ought to be my favorite one yet; because, somehow, this works VERY well. Now I want a "kaizo" CB1 with this kinda sound :P
Well, with CB level maker stuff making the rounds, maybe some day.
I really like this album cover! ❤
this is probably the best soundfont remastered album i've heard, the rhytms and notes are pretty accurate and simply love how it sounds, even down to the solos
Crash when his sister asks him to get labtop BATTERY at home : 0:00
Love "Orion" in this sound font. Reminds me of "Into Sandy's City" from the Doom 2 soundtrack!
Battery sounds so good.
Master Of Bandicoots
The thing that should not be and battery became spooky
Leper Messiah is the best one!
sanitarium definitely sounds like an early scrapped cortex theme that was cut for being too dramatic
WOAH! After numerous rock remixes in the style of Super Mario and so on, I was waiting for something in the style of Crash
Orion goes so hard
Amazing. This masterpiece made me sub; looking forward to more!
Had no idea that I could love Leper Messiah any more than I currently do.
I can still head bang to it.
This sounds so good i'm super impressed. Nice job on this one dude!
5:15 You're welcome.
This shit made my day, big love for you bro, thanks
48:08 When you are trying to sleep but 4 mosquitos fly around right next to your ears
Crash Drum > Lars Snare
Fax.
This is such a W
This is art
this is amazing. great job! orion slapped.
I thought this was just the song so hearing it play Battery and realizing it was the whole made me laugh my head off lol
The freaking official art translating so well too lol
During the bridge of Master Of Puppets with James Hetfield's solo I hear the mix of the snow levels from Crash 2 and tomb levels of Crash 3
I was an atheist until I listen to Crash Bandicoot playing "Orion"... and didn't know who to thank for such a blessing 🥵🤠
Praise be our bandicoot on high. Amen.
Sick! Nice work
Why does this slap so hard. It has absolutely no right to but it does. Incredible!!!
MetalliCrash - Cortex of Puppets
You managed to make master of puppets sound like a vintage doom sound track
It's funny because in Crash 2 with the one of the eel levels there's part in ost that always reminds me of Bolt Thrower's song "World Eater". This is really funny Master of Puppets-version. :D
Bradley Hall would go beans on this.
Leper Messiah fits so damn well
*Crash Bandicoot: Master Of Wumpas*
(waiting for Spyro The Lightning)
(Is working on Spyro mixes)
Lmao
I would be so keen for some Spyro stuff
@@ahuman9969 I got a Spyro video planned for Sunday, but just put one out yesterday.
Hm interesting to see the use of "soundfont" has spread as a term. This is probably the best sounding video game soundfont for this album I've heard.
It’s a trip, honestly. And, thanks!
Battery played like this sounds like it can fit in a Castlevania game either Castlevania 1 or Super Castlevania
Iron Bandicoot: Master of Bandicoots
CRASHTER OF PUPPETS
Damage inc goes hard
That Leper solo rules! Never really cared much about that track before but that was so good, definitely a stand out.
