It’s normal to cry when people are talking about death. Her dad wasn’t actually passed at the time on the show. It’s just simple empathy.
Candiace also got to know her father when they had the cast trip,where he took them on a tour around the plantation & to different sites.

Giselle's family is from Louisiana. She knows all about colorism, the brown paper bag and the blue vein club. Her dad once called a dark skin political opponent Aunt Jemima and he was featured in an article and referred to as The Agitator. Seems like the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

That is what I can’t get over !! viewers actually believing this woman. Mia is a hustler/ actress. She knows how this show works. She will make sure she has some nonsense to talk about every season even at the expense of her son.

Just because Wendy’s mom was having a procedure that wasn’t really life threatening it still could’ve went wrong and something could’ve happened and at the time none of them knew the extent of what was going on with Giselle’s dad especially not Wendy and Candiace so I could see Wendy being like well she was talking shit about my mom I have nothing for her
Ppl die from elective or even routine surgeries all the time. My ex-coworker’s spouse died getting a tonsillectomy. And if I understood right, Dr. Wendy’s mom had some type of complication or had to do the procedure quickly or something.
And Wendy's mom did have complications from the elective procedure, that is why she was in the hospital. She wasn't in the hospital to do the procedure.
First of all Wendy never knew Gisele‘s dad was dying. All she heard was he was in the hospital and can Candice not like Gisele and have empathy like what are we doing here?
I’m actually happy that Karen had the awareness to speak up for Mia’s son since his mother was not able/willing to protect him. The child’s paternity should not be fodder for the show. It wouldn’t surprise me if all 3 of Mia’s kids are being heckled at school.

Karen should hold herself accountable as well. I agree that the children's psychological well-being should be paramount, but does she not feel they are affected hearing accusations/discussions about their mom cheating which Karen alluded to earlier in the season?
Chris, I'm sure you're sick of reviewing the show this season. As for the colorism discussion, there can never be a honest conversation on the show because everyone is being inauthentic and hypocritical. Not one member of the cast would be capable of being honest.

Candiance is either pregnant or going full steam ahead with IVF and can't be stressed during the process. She's definitely a crier but it was more on this reunion.
Imo Mia has really eclipsed Gizelle and Ashley. She can go back and forth with everyone while still keeping enough room open for resolution. She also seems like a genuinely interesting person with her lies. Gizelle can't move on from anything and Pennywise is sooo boring and desperate to be the 3rd Lightskinned Lunatic of the show.
Not a fan of her but I can agree with this. Neck on the other hand cannot.

Why are they reaching out to support Mia despite the fact that Mia broke their arrangement and cheated on her husband. Mia brought this on herself. Normally love you but the inability to be fair is interesting especially despite the trashy ways of the GEBs. Disappointed.

Candiace has brought up that situation literally since Ultimate Girls trip and throughout this season. She is THE ONLY person still talking about it on the show. She has every right to still be mad, but if your husband is saying he doesn’t wanna talk about it, why are you bringing it up? Gizelle made that one statement in a confessional. The end. It's not the end this will effect him and to not really understand the complication this can have on Candace and his life is amazing to me we can just make accusations and say sorry that's it people are in jail for that right now.

It’s about people being able to hear a balanced conversation about how ALL of the women on this show are flawed and annoying and do the most. The constant hate spewing about Gizelle and Robyn is EXHAUSTING and predictable and at this point boring. We’ve heard it all before. We get it. This isn’t a show about good guys and bad guys. It’s a show about messy women who are desperate to be on tv and gossip for entertainment. The end. The moralizing of this show is ridiculous.

I think this show is rotting all of our brains. It’s so obvious that Giselle and Robyn are bad faith actors but it seems like the fans are jumping through hoops to spread out blame. And the Mia lies are not entertaining they are weird as hell.
Mia was the most entertaining thing about RHOP this season. I just want to see Karen, Kearina, Mia return. It would be nice to see Katie return. Then replace everyone else. This show lost the humor and joy it used to have.

I have a different view with Candiace and Chris not bothering to expound on some of the question because at that point anything either of them say it would have been twisted as them being the problem and this is from someone who has a love/hate relationship with Candiace on the show but I understood why she was like okay cause her, Wendy and even Chris are held to a different standard on the show from the GEB, production and even Andy. I really think across the board Andy should not be hosting any of these reunion cause he is not objective and how can he when he hangs out with these people he can't separate his professional and personal which is probably why the former housewives are going after him now.
I think Candiace was just extra emotional this reunion because she knew she was quitting and nothing got resolved. Such a shame

I wonder why no one ever mentions that Karen is the only person who has been outwardly colorist on this show by saying that Wendy doesn't fit in. Everyone is so concentrated on Gizelle and Robyn, but no one ever mentions Karen.

@makonflex0725 I read between the lines. I got it because Karen talked a lot about pedigree and etiquette, which is all related to the Black elite, something that I'm well studied on. The Black elite come from certain families and/or they have certain careers and join certain organizations. Candiace, Gizelle, Robyn, and Wendy all fit into the Black elite. Katie is also a member of the Black elite. Karen and Ashley don't come from those families, nor do they have any other qualification. When Karen said that about Wendy, everyone online was saying it was because of Wendy's skin color, so my statement was about the fact that I don't see people talking about Karen's colorism anymore, it has shifted to Gizelle and Robyn. Karen was molded by Ray's mom, and the older members of the Black elite were very colorist, and they only allowed people with lighter skin in their organizations and circles. Because of this, they often imbread to keep everyone light (like Gizelle and Robyn). Karen is a part of the older generation that still has that mentality.

I like that most of the YTbers back the underdogs 😊. It’s human nature to see someone being unfairly criticized and hounded on and wanting to rally behind them. Most of the people I follow support them fully but also call them out. Find your tribe. There are plenty of people who are dedicated to hating Candiace and Wendy 🤷♀️ if that’s what you want to do

There is a real “hatred” though that is fueled on other pages though that is fueling an unhealthy parasocial relationship with certain cast members. I don’t wanna hear an endless bashing of ANY OF THESE PEOPLE. AT ALL. Nor do I wanna hear an endless litany of conspiracy theories and faux deep philosophical arguments about “underdogs” that also engage in the same messy and problematic behaviors that Real Housewives of each franchise do but when they do it, it’s for some deep psychological reason. It’s exhausting. All of these women make decisions to return each year to this show. None of them have to be there. Many of us want to simply watch the show, watch what happens, comment on THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN ON THE SHOW and the things that ALL of the ladies do. Conspiracy theories, nonstop bashing, name calling, consistently advocating for people to be fired that you don’t like, screaming about people you don’t know and harassing them online…is not backing an “underdog”. It’s fueling the toxic rhetoric surrounding the social media of this show that ALL of these women have commented on and been victims to.
Candiace is the problem with the cast. I'm looking forward to next season without her. I am sick of the Candiace apologists.

Karen, Monique, Wendy, Candiace even Charrisse in the earlier seasons she accused her of dating the fire fighter knowing it could’ve affected her getting alimony during her very public divorce.
