He has the record of being the first player to have worn the jerseys of both Real Madrid and Barcelona as well as those of Inter and Milan. Always loved wherever he goes, he is unique in this. - Sport

This is bye far the freshest player I've ever seen just for raw power, speed, full speed dribbling. Fuccer did a elastico in a full sprint. Was literally unstoppable, froze defenders and won everything he needed to. 19 year old and was already the best player in the 96-97 season !!

I think Cristiano was better, more goals, much better goals per game ratio, more assists, and much longer at the top. He's been consistently amazing since 2006. I saw him play for the first time in the France 98 World Cup. I was MESMERIZED. His movement and style is like watching Samba in Motion. Absolutely beautiful technique with Brazilian flair. There is only one “Ronaldo”. The other two became “Ronaldinho” and C.Ronaldo.
Even more interesting is that in Brazil, he is called 'Ronaldinho' (as that was the nickname given to him - Little Ronaldo - when he started playing professionally). The other one who we know with that name (with the pony tail) is called 'Ronaldinho Gaucho' in Brazil. Gaucho's are people from the South of Brazil, where he is from.

When I saw this guy first time I was like: "OMG, Maradona and Pele had a child together...." It was since 1986 when I saw Maradona first time that I was left with my jaw on the floor, and Ronaldo did it for me. The best in world ever? You see Ronaldo today as a middle age guy, he walks around very heavy and has pain in his knees climbing a staircase.... but man, wind that clock back to 1996,1997,1998 and he was the fastest fucking player I have ever seen dribble or sprint with a football.... He was extremely agile and light on his feet and when he accelerated, he would leave the defender for DEAD.
People today don't even realise how crazy this man's football skills were.
