Man, I love this Gem-Knight FTK deck. Of all different decks I used for this events, Gem Knights it's by the most fun I played on MD.

It was my favorite deck back in the Tearlaments era, because it can go toe to toe with the resident tier 0, especially with Block Dragon.
Shame it's significantly weaker without it, and Kashtira almost killed it entirely. XD
Thank goodness that I saved the gem-knight FTK engine.
Gem knights is one of the most fun decks to use.

The FTK will be much more consistent with a 2nd UR (Brilliant Fusion), but this is enough to win going 2nd consistently.

What happened at 2:30 ? I didn't know you could summon driver from deck, I'm only able to summon him from hand.

Driver can also be summoned from deck and GY, that's why it works really well with Vernu, because it can be used as a discard target.
People also thought that Vernu locks us into Earth, but the lock is applied after the 1st Vernu effect's resolution, so they'll get smacked by Gamma if they Ash/Belle the 1st Vernu.
Vernusylph have a very similar concept to the horus cards, it just unfortunate they lock you into earth attribute.
Yeah, the discard is similar, but Vernu's search power is insane, it's a fair trade to be honest. XD
@@GoriCHADThe reason people don't play it because it because they can't make Baronnes or Savage, which honestly people should try to be a little more creative that to make a engine to make them both instead
@@oderflafrredy2790 They can make Baronne and Savage, but they can't use the effects the turn they are summoned, which means Savage can't gain its counter for the negates. XD
Koa'ki Meiru Guardian is the resident negater in our turn.
The other reason is the fact that it can't generate advantage without Block Dragon.
With Block Dragon, it can easily make Apollousa and Baronne for next turn. :D
@@GoriCHADAh right they can be summon but can't use their effect. I remember now when someone summon Savage and didn't get to equip a link monster on it and surrender 😂 Also Block Dragon was insanely good it had to go for sure.
Haha yeah, +2 monsters like Isolde are broken enough, but Block Dragon is a +3 that can also be used as Link Material(s) infinitely. XD

For 2 Cards FTK, Summon Master Diamond w/ Brilliant Fusion. (Lapis, Lazuli, Quartz)
Summon Quartz w/ Cross Sheep, and return Lapis & Lazuli to Hand.
Master Diamond + Quartz = Phantom Quartz.
Use Phantom Quartz > Master Diamond + Quartz = Zirconia.
Gem-Knight Fusion > Lapis + Lazuli = Lapis Lazuli > Lapis to Hand.
Banish Lazuli > Fusion to Hand.
Burn for 4500 w/ Lapis Lazuli. (Send Lapis Lazuli from ED to GY)
3 Gem-Knights including Lapis from Hand = Master Diamond.
Copy Lapis Lazuli in GY w/ Master Diamond > Burn 4000 (Send any Gem-Knight). :D
@@GoriCHAD Thanks for the combo GoriCHAD! Should we keep kao'ki Meiru cards that the deck in that video or replace them with planet pathfinder, driver and gamma, or some other cards in this video? How do we know whether to use or not to include Crystal Rose and/or Brilliant Rose in the main deck?
@@Bomber389 Pathfinder for more consistency, Koa'ki Meiru for protections and resources, so both are fine.
I prefer Pathfinder and Gamma+Driver nowadays. :D
Having just one Master Diamond makes it less consistent, and this FTK isn't even that consistent to begin with.
1 Master Diamond is enough with Black Garden, the problem is the fact that there's only 3 + 3 starters for the 2 cards combo FTK.
And we can't do the 2 cards combo line with Vernusylph without Brilliant Fusion.
So the problem isn't the lack of 2nd and 3rd Master Diamond, it's the lack of Brilliant Fusion.
It's more consistent than most rogue decks with Brilliant Fusion.
But we don't even need them to begin with, because this deck can easily win going 2nd without the FTK. :D
