    I always bring peanut butter, jelly, Texas toast bread, fresh carrots, apples and berries to camp. Also a few gallons of water and lemons to put in the water for extra electrolytes. My first experience at a 4 day music festival I got really sick from not eating and not drinking enough water. Learned my lesson. Never again.

      Aghh I’m so sorry you got sick 🥺 I never thought of Texas toast, I might do that for electric forest!

    pro tip if you have the car space to fit something a little bigger: bring a cot instead of an air mattress. Gets you up off the ground and doesn’t deflate :-) the one I have has a nice mattress pad to go on top of it

    Could be worse, roommate and I actually forgot the tent poles when we went to Wakaan 😂 Our neighbors had an extra one. Wakaan 2019 is family. Such a beautiful experience.

      Oh no 😭😭 I think from now on I’m going to bring extra tent poles in case anyone needs them haha I miss it so much. I really hope Wakaan happens this year .. 🥺

    You should get a fun festival flag. They make finding your camp site really easy. Mine has a picture of Jake from Adventure Time and a rainbow on it. I just zip tie the flag onto the flag pole that opens up and then I zip tie the flagpole to my canopy.

      I see so many people with festival flags and after not being able to find our campsite for the first time at okee, I think we’re definitely going to start doing that

    Alcohol stoves are nice to have vs propane grill...

    I suggest a Case of water and a boiling kettle to go with your gas (propane is used as a gas when working) stove.

    I high recommend bringing duct tape and super glue to put over any holes that might form in an air mattress. Also bring a batter operated fan for the tent

    • @CenteredFlow
      @CenteredFlow  Před rokem +1

      Love these suggestions!! I mentioned a few of these in another video 🤭 but another good tip is to bring foam tiles to put under your air mattress to prevent holes from any rocks that may be under your tent!

    These are great tips! I have never been to a festival, but I can definitely see where a canopy would be a great idea....and sunscreen! I am sure they have a lot of those things for sale there, but I am sure they are expensive. It would be great to pack some healthy food too as I am sure the food there is quite expensive as well.

    • @CenteredFlow
      @CenteredFlow  Před 3 lety

      Yeah! Festivals usually have a store with all the essentials you might have forgotten but a bottle of sunscreen could be like $5! Always some crazy price! but yes, I've learned healthy food is MUST! The food is not healthy at all haha

    The best canopy tent combo are the Walmart Ozark Trail 10x10 canopy and their Connecttent that attaches! Those canopies go on sale for $60-70 often and the tent is $40
    Plus you can attach up to three tents to it!

    I haven't even finished your video and I'm already researching canopy options. Can you add links to the best recommended canopies best suited for festivals, as well as the other items you suggest in the video? I'd gladly support your Amazon shop or other link if you have one.

    I'd love to attend a camping festival one day ... Sounds like so much fun! These were great tips! I'm greedy, so I would've been stocked up on food before anything else. 😆

    • @CenteredFlow
      @CenteredFlow  Před 3 lety

      No, you can't have a fire so you need to bring a gas stove! :)

      Some don’t allow you to bring gas either! (Dancefestopia and some others)
