  • Building more trees to replace some store bought trees on my HO Scale switching layout. Nothing wrong with the store bought ones just it’s more fun to make my own these days 😁😁

    Dear Bill, the cores of the baggie wrap twisters is also excellent wire to make small branches from. I just wire strip ‘m and use ‘m for making loops. Advantage is that this wire is just slightly different in gauge and therefore makes a more random set of branches. Cheerio

    Bill, Love your work, such a prolific layout builder! Ready for another challenge? I'd love to engage you to at least get my small n scale layout started. The Piedmont & Blue Ridge is intended to be a 30 in. by 72 in. switching layout masquerading as a figure eight pike. I think you'd find it an intriguing challenge. I've got all the track needed, and we appear to be Richmond neighbors. Interested?
