I prefer pyrite spell-bomb simply because itâs an artifact and you can tutor it but this works too

Welcome back! Missed your videos for cedh! This game really shows that Collector Ouphe/Null Rod would be back breaking to many of the decks out there nowadays with so many decks dependent on mana rocks and treasures to win. I was hoping the Yeva deck would toss out one of those since I have a Yeva deck myself.
Since the rise of dockside (and all the other treasure generators) when I play my stax deck Iâll basically snap keep any hand with a turn 1 Ouphe or Null Rod

Elixir of Immortality is one of my favorite cards ever, it was in every casual deck I ever put together. Seeing it as a combo piece in a more competitive environment was awesome.
So sad for mono green but the 3 games were a lot of fun đ€©

I love to see magda win a game. Fetshing academy manufactoer after having the tappt treasures also works: on each clook loop you will get a treasure a food and a clue. Now you can tapp the clue instead of the treasure to make infinit every thing and you can sac the clues to draw, because they don't need to tapp to activate.

in g1: I dont get not dashing out ragavan t1 when you can possibly have a better follow up than spark mage. You also get deck info or can have a lot more info on the rest of your turn instead of spark mage. secondly, he exiled ragavan to URB but its legendary so it doesnt get exiled. It doesnt really matter since the game ended, just careful for future games

I would love to see a budget build for Malcolm/Tana. That deck is awesome
My malcom breeches deck if I pull the stupid expensive add ins and just add green is pretty cheap most of the combo pieces for malcom are .50 cards. It's just the expensive cyc rift. Dockside and ragavan and the landbase otherwise it's like 100-150$ deck sadly that's how most decks are 10% of the cards make up 70% of the value

Interesting... I have a Magda deck that runs Grinding Station...it helps with the loop to keep the Treasure Tokens untapped, since it untaps when the tokens ETB. It's versatile as a wincon once you get Xorn as you can use the trigger off of the two tokens to mill and untap, then force draw with a Memory Jar to win.
Being a Malcolm/Tana lover myself, I do appreciate a clean and swift Glinthorn victory :-) However: Magda is such a bonkers and fun commander!!!!!!

Man, poor Yeva... I run her in a slightly cEDH build that's similar, but she just got beat out in speed by the others. I like running Scute Swarm with Aashaya and Lotus Cobra. It doesn't go infinite, but I get alot of value from them

It's been a while since I've even thought of Narset being cEDH. I remember being crazy scared of her when it was mainly battle-cruiser games, not so much as of late. But you guys have showed me the error in my ways
The more fast mana jeskai things that get printed (ragavan, jeweled lotus etc) the better shot she has

Narset Turns cEDH? Oh boy I'm back in 2018 meta-hell. But, honestly great to see the deck updated to today's standards and STILL kick ass and take names. Makes my battlecruiser pump-spell focused casual EDH Narset Deck look like a pile of garbage. That first game was nasty. Second game's just an extra treat

to clarify @8:33 when Cal casts glint horn along with malcolm in battlefield, he can activate glint horns second ability after doing damage? (after creating treasures with malcolm) can some one clarify this for me please
There is an "end of combat" phase after damage is dealt. Creatures are still considered attacking at this point. (See also Reconnaissance)

Is Ryan not running academy manufactor and pyrite spellbomb in the deck? A lot fewer steps to tutor those out for the instant speed win and doesnât require casting any spells.

The dynamics in this pod are fascinating. Narset is exceptionally hard to interact with in cEDH, so the only alternative is going faster than her. And because everyone is tapping out all the time, they don't have up interaction for things like glint-horn, or Magda's rather interaction-vulnerable combo.
