Nice vids! Yeah like u, Jingles' preview of the Centurions made me go through the Brit Med line FIRST. Tho it was quite a pain, boy it was a treat. He is my 1st T9 tank and tho I threw a lot by playing games with less thinking, still when times I got it right, it kicked some ass. Personally, I had higher consistency of HESH Performance that what u had experience. Both made me aim more accurately and patiently. Still the RNG made shots go to tracks, or thicker parts and make low dmg. Maybe you can be alright with just carrying lots of APDS and leave some space for cheap HESH, which still has twice more pen than other contemporary L7 family's HE pen(105vs53). Still, I'm happy to see the latest review of the Centurion 7/1. You earned me as a new sub. Keep up the good vids m8

Nice vid LR. I spend more time now at T9 than any other lately. It is the best MM. frontline has been nice too. I find myself playing my T8’s again in that mode.
Great videos dude. I go between Playstation and PC. The most frustrating thing for me in PC is the spotting mechanics... Not knowing as a green crew when spotted and then getting wrecked infuriates me. I dislike playing cautiously but find myself doing so and getting scuffed at. Your videos certainly have improved my games playstyle on both platforms... Thanks ..m
the added bonus in all centurion tanksis that loader is a radio operator so you can pump up your view range pretty fast to awesome levels plus the gun handling makes that a very good sniper.

cool game, i like your vids man, very informative. Can you make a video about the 121, i have one but i recently dropped from 56% win rate on it to 45%, sounds like the learning curve is getting me due to having unlocked it from the light tank line.
I love my 7/1. I kept it even after I got the Action X, but haven't played it in a while. Now I'm inspired to get it back out of the garage. The Centurion line is the only tank line that I kept the tier 8 and 9 once I ground through them to the tier 10.
The CAX is a generally fun tank, but sadly got ruined by the Ruski bias. Overall still a great tank. Not as competitive, but still capable, especially once you get it on a ridgeline, where you will be dealing 4k in two and a half minutes. (I own one)
This is a rly good tank. The low dpm actually helps most of the time because you tend to take cover more while reloading instead of staying exposed like you do with faster reload tanks.
I had a blast playing cent 7/1, its one of the few vehicles I have unicum stats in, which is pretty good considering its high tier vehicle. The only thing I didn't enjoy about it was quite low DPM - I often really wished for at least a LITTLE bit shorter reload times. When you get to close quarters combat in cities, suddenly DPM actually can matter a lot and you can't afford to just get into someone's face and brawl with him mindlessly. But others can do it to you. But whatever, it was amazing tank anyway.
Great video and review. I definitely love this tank as well. Very comfortable to play with the mobility and gun depression. Those HESH rounds are definitely troll. Do you love the AX just as much?

I like the CAX wayyy more than the old fv its actually one of my favorite meds since they buffed the turret armor... although even before then I really liked it
anotherrandomtexan25 are you out of your mind? The AX is garbage. And this is coming from a 2900 average damage per game with 3 marks on it. The FV had a much better gun handling, ultra much better mobility, and much better looks. The only down side on the old FV4202 was the 40kph and turret. Other than that, I remember how much fun I had with that tank... and so so sexy. The AX is just worse than 7/1 tier per tier. Too large, too obese, trash gun handling, no armor at all. The 7/1 has better turret armor. I have 3 marked both the 7/1 and the AX so I know what I’m talking about.
oshitomaha idk what you're smoking lol the gun handling feels about the same as the old fv neither of them have or had the same GH as the patton but 40kmh was just shit no matter how nimble you might be you just couldn't get anywhere a med should reach at that tier, I dont feel like the AX is that much bigger (if at all?) than a 7/1 by far the biggest difference for me in why I like is its mobility, it is soooo much better at getting to where you want to be on the map which is what a med should be able to do I didn't think the top speed would have me liking it so much but its really made a difference
anotherrandomtexan25 even WITH that 40kph limit the FV’s traverse and p/w ratio was superior to the CAX. The gun handling was so much better with snap shots...I remember playing the FV 24/7, in fact, I had over 2k battles with it and a 3k average damage. I now have almost 3k battles with the now CAX and my average damage dropped to 2927. The upper glacis on the FV was so bouncy I remember bouncing tier 9 and 10s constantly. The FV turret wasn’t as good as the CAX cus it had a terrible cupola but if you used it well, it would bounce tier 10 heavies. I couldn’t imagine the old FV4202 with top speed of 50kph and a turret as good as the 7/1. Trust me dude, you would love the FV4202 at 50kph.
In the situation that you were in in that game, would it not have been better to push over the ridge, even though there were three tanks there. I think it would have been easier to face those three tanks than to risk getting assaulted from behind by all of the tanks who were coming across the valley. In any case, a thoughtful review and a great video. I'm looking forward to getting the Centurion 7/1 soon myself.

No real mention on the B-barrel option for added DPM, how come? Granted the reg. pen sucks in many cases, but with platooning and occasional premium spamming, that seems to be a real option. Or have something changed since I played it?
Sometimes logic goes out of the window, being British I concentrate on Brit Tanks quality is not an issue. I have the Centurion 1/1. And am grinding out the 7/1. I don’t have any tier 9 tanks yet as I made a decision to get to tier 8 across all types first. Enjoyed the video very informative. Checked out the Jingles vid after yours. Have had this tank unlocked for a long time but have hesitated to buy it because u have to go through a fun and turret upgrade before you get to the good gun.
I have 3.5M credits and following tanks unlocked: TVP 50 (T9) IS 7 BC 25 (T10) I also have Jpz E100, but I think I will pass this one for a bit. Which tank should I buy? I know it all depends on my game style, but still. Which would you buy? I have Leopard 1, S.Conc, FV215b, FV215 183, Badger, T11E05 as of tier 10, I also have multiple T8 tanks (I'm pretty close to M46 Patton), so maybe I should focus on those more. I need inspiration!
Tier 9 has ALWAYS been by far the most comfortable tier for multiple reasons, 1, most tier 9 tanks get tier 10 armaments which leads to high pen easily enough to deal with most higher tier 10s in the game, and that leads to reason 2, they get -2 +1 matchmaking, being the only tier to get this on top of having weapons good enough to deal with the 10s for the most part means the tier is comfortable, never once did my Jagdtiger struggle to deal with tier 10's armour, never once did my Conqueror struggle, but all my tier 9's did shit on the poor tier 7s they can face. Especially since all my tier 9's so far are fucking lethal, Conq, ST-I, JTiger, etc.
Not sure on the Centurian, but the modern Leopard has the ammo up front beside the driver o.0 Never dug deeper on other tanks, but I used to be a loader back in the day... I just try and hit a target in-game and hope for the best xD
Issue with it is the gun handling soft stats, in particular is has awful turret rotation dispersion, so the bloom before firing is terrible if you have just moved or turned the turret. And the lack of high pen premium round in the current meta is also a big issue, Type 4s, Type 5s, Maus, 268 v4s etc. these tanks are a pain to deal with without like 300 plus pen.
The tank un-upgraded is basically a T7 fighting T9. Big, slow, poor DPS. Mobility is key, you will be reloading the fastist, as common with British tanks. So you need to be able to move into postion and hide your hull, your *Biggist* weakness... your hull. But once you've got mobility upgrading your gun will give you a larger & larger advantage, as your able to land 2 shots to there 1. Giving you a larger damage output than most heavys. TDs will rekt your turret, everything else will bounce less your sitting still. It's preforms like light tank once upgraded with a med gun & turret. In a nutshell, you've got a huge hull what can't only bounce shells off the front at an angle. In exchange your very monevrable, allowing you to postion your strongish turret to utilise your amazing reload time. Meds wish they had it's mobility/gun. Lights wish they had it's turret armour/gun. Heavys want you to stop harrasing them, & TDs want to smoke your ass.
i got object 704 and i have 40 k exp left to get object 268 at the same time i am grinding for badger i use now at-8 so should i ignore object 268 and focus on badger?

I'm still struggling to make it work, despite the great gun handling and virtually the same crew skills setup you have. I think my positioning is probably not right. Could/would you do some more videos on different maps with the Cent please, so I can learn more on how to deploy the Cent best? I'd be much obliged.

@LemmingRush I'm grindind the 7/1 atm. 27 battles in 2 days with it => 3 times i saw some t7 and and 16 times i've been low tier against t10's !!! So dude, maybe on US server you're lucky and meet t7 very often but this is not the case anymore on EU since they fixed (or broke) the mm. The only advantage is that you do not to meet too many tier 11. (268 v4, super conqueror, obj 430u etc...)
If you get this tank, just bear in mind that the stock guns are lower damage and pen, but higher RoF. Just hold on for the top gun, it really makes this tank awesome.
This is absolutely one of the best t9 MT I've played and I have played the 430, M46 Patton etc. Everything just seems to click together, despite it having the lowest DPM, I manage the highest DPG in it. Also note, I never fire gold ammo, so the M46 to me is atrocious.
I definitely *don't* feel like I get favorable MM when playing in tier 9 -> a *lot* of tier 9-10 matchups, and very rarely top tier against tier 7s. I'll keep a critical eye on the MM for the next 10 or so games in tier 9 tanks and follow up on this 'feeling.' [edit] Just finished a 20-game session, and here are my observations: in 3 out of the 20 games I was top tier (15%)... Only *one* of these was against tier 7s (the other two were tier 8-9 matchups). The other 17 were evenly split between being mid tier in a tier 8-9-10 split and bottom tier in tier 9-10 splits. So no, getting top tier games against tier 7s is a rarity.

I love the Cent 7/1. Had a brilliant game in it with Obj 704 giving me massive support. It even was on Westfield, 6k damage, 5k assist and 6 kills.

Have had this tank unlocked for a long time but have hesitated to buy it because u have to go through a fun and turret upgrade before you get to the good gun.
I have 3.5M credits and following tanks unlocked:
TVP 50 (T9)
IS 7
BC 25 (T10)
I also have Jpz E100, but I think I will pass this one for a bit.
Which tank should I buy? I know it all depends on my game style, but still. Which would you buy? I have Leopard 1, S.Conc, FV215b, FV215 183, Badger, T11E05 as of tier 10, I also have multiple T8 tanks (I'm pretty close to M46 Patton), so maybe I should focus on those more. I need inspiration!
Tier 9 has ALWAYS been by far the most comfortable tier for multiple reasons, 1, most tier 9 tanks get tier 10 armaments which leads to high pen easily enough to deal with most higher tier 10s in the game, and that leads to reason 2, they get -2 +1 matchmaking, being the only tier to get this on top of having weapons good enough to deal with the 10s for the most part means the tier is comfortable, never once did my Jagdtiger struggle to deal with tier 10's armour, never once did my Conqueror struggle, but all my tier 9's did shit on the poor tier 7s they can face. Especially since all my tier 9's so far are fucking lethal, Conq, ST-I, JTiger, etc.

this is actually my very first tier 9 and it's one of my fav.
Not sure on the Centurian, but the modern Leopard has the ammo up front beside the driver o.0 Never dug deeper on other tanks, but I used to be a loader back in the day... I just try and hit a target in-game and hope for the best xD
Issue with it is the gun handling soft stats, in particular is has awful turret rotation dispersion, so the bloom before firing is terrible if you have just moved or turned the turret.
And the lack of high pen premium round in the current meta is also a big issue, Type 4s, Type 5s, Maus, 268 v4s etc. these tanks are a pain to deal with without like 300 plus pen.
Cent 7/1 stood out hugely as one of my favs, for sure!!!
Once a long time ago I did 6k dmg in it, with the 20 pounder. I hadn't yet researched the L7.

The tank un-upgraded is basically a T7 fighting T9. Big, slow, poor DPS.
Mobility is key, you will be reloading the fastist, as common with British tanks. So you need to be able to move into postion and hide your hull, your *Biggist* weakness... your hull.
But once you've got mobility upgrading your gun will give you a larger & larger advantage, as your able to land 2 shots to there 1. Giving you a larger damage output than most heavys. TDs will rekt your turret, everything else will bounce less your sitting still.
It's preforms like light tank once upgraded with a med gun & turret.
In a nutshell, you've got a huge hull what can't only bounce shells off the front at an angle.
In exchange your very monevrable, allowing you to postion your strongish turret to utilise your amazing reload time.
Meds wish they had it's mobility/gun. Lights wish they had it's turret armour/gun. Heavys want you to stop harrasing them, & TDs want to smoke your ass.
i got object 704 and i have 40 k exp left to get object 268 at the same time i am grinding for badger i use now at-8 so should i ignore object 268 and focus on badger?
should Grille 15 be buffed? whats the point if its not nearly as accurate as the strv and has worse armour

Hi LemmingRush, recently I got my Centurion 7/1 as well (it's only my second tier IX). I'm still struggling to make it work, despite the great gun handling and virtually the same crew skills setup you have. I think my positioning is probably not right. Could/would you do some more videos on different maps with the Cent please, so I can learn more on how to deploy the Cent best? I'd be much obliged.

I'm grindind the 7/1 atm.
27 battles in 2 days with it => 3 times i saw some t7 and and 16 times i've been low tier against t10's !!!
So dude, maybe on US server you're lucky and meet t7 very often but this is not the case anymore on EU since they fixed (or broke) the mm.
The only advantage is that you do not to meet too many tier 11. (268 v4, super conqueror, obj 430u etc...)
If you get this tank, just bear in mind that the stock guns are lower damage and pen, but higher RoF. Just hold on for the top gun, it really makes this tank awesome.

I see Centurion 7/1 and Mighty Jingles in the same sentence, I subscribe.
This is absolutely one of the best t9 MT I've played and I have played the 430, M46 Patton etc. Everything just seems to click together, despite it having the lowest DPM, I manage the highest DPG in it. Also note, I never fire gold ammo, so the M46 to me is atrocious.
Agree 100% on the HESH i dont even load the prem hesh and just carry like 5 standard hesh rounds.

I definitely *don't* feel like I get favorable MM when playing in tier 9 -> a *lot* of tier 9-10 matchups, and very rarely top tier against tier 7s. I'll keep a critical eye on the MM for the next 10 or so games in tier 9 tanks and follow up on this 'feeling.'
[edit] Just finished a 20-game session, and here are my observations: in 3 out of the 20 games I was top tier (15%)... Only *one* of these was against tier 7s (the other two were tier 8-9 matchups). The other 17 were evenly split between being mid tier in a tier 8-9-10 split and bottom tier in tier 9-10 splits. So no, getting top tier games against tier 7s is a rarity.
