This song reminds me of Christmas. And it is Christmas as i write this. But even when you hear it in the Summertime. It still reminds me just how beautiful, magical and special Christmas truly is.
This not only instantly transports me to the 90s as a child but is just so sad, whimsical, uplifting and just pure magic all at once. I cry sad and happy tears when I hear this. I'm 37 and honestly even though its strange to say, I would love this to be played at my funeral whenever that day may come.
Yep. This always makes me want to cry. It’s pure passion, beauty, and heartbreak. It really captures the magic and mystery of some things we might not understand. Some things might be terrifying but they can sometimes have a beauty to them if we just take the time to learn about and understand them. This piece of music is truly an iconic piece of art. Maybe even history. Every time I think of Edward himself, I want to hold him, protect him, know him, and love him.

I have listened to his soundtracks for years and all I can say is, listening to it has brought such joy to my psyche and mind and is such a joyous expansion of thought. He is a genius of music to the soul. When a music composition moves you to tears, it proves it is ageless and deep and is an expression from the universe.

I had a pet bearded dragon that loved to listen to this song. Any other song, she'd run away. But this one, she listened to throughout the whole time. She liked the Ice Dance mostly. So, now I call it, "Allie's Song."
Last January, it was snowing for the first time in my area after several years, I opened the window and looked outside at the snowflakes that were starting to fall, when suddenly theses notes (0:57 to 1:07) came through my head. (I hadn't seen this movie since the 90s when I was 8 years old) A few seconds later the chorus at 6:28 , then i wonder but where does theses music notes come from... Then from 9:00 p.m. to midnight I went crazy I tried to whistle the air on my shazam but nothing helped. I first believed in a Christmas song, then Harry Potter I couldn't find it ... But at midnight I did my research by typing "snow" "music" i felt on xmas songs and many others , i almost gived up frustrated and then I came across this video... When I started to hear the notes and then read the title i just got butterflies in my stomach like if a distant memory called me ... I immediately look again at this masterpiece

I remember vividly watching this is summer 1997. I was a teenager back then. The feeling I got was the most intense I have ever had, and still to this day nothing compares. I really don't know why. This is just a movie, and while it is a good movie it should not compare to real life. Love, loss, happiness, sadness, excitement in real life should be more intense than a movie. But it was not. When I hear the song now as a 40 something, I don't feel the same intensity. but still, can remember how I felt 25 years ago. Very strange.
