Definitely Greninja and Naganadel. Those 2 were Pokémon that only ash himself had (besides his special Dusk Form Lycanroc), and therefore deserve more screen time.

I used to ridicule ash for giving away his best Pokemon but growing up, I saw that it was a sort of unselfish and caring attitude towards to Pokemon in general, even if it meant giving up some of his own for the greater good. He was kind of scammed out of Primeape but other than that, he put the interests of Pokemon before his own, wish makes him an admirable character
I believe ash also released squirtle back in johto who wanted to be with the squirtle squad again to help put fires out back in kanto. Squirtle soon came back to help ash but then went back to being a squirtle squad captain.

After Ash returns to Kanto and leaves for Kalos, Charizard stays in Professor Oak's lab permanently. I can only assume that Charizard's training is DONE.

Goodra choose to stay there and if that count as a reallese then all of ash pokemon have been reallese cuz ash do not have them on him so that does not count. Also zygarde asked free ninja help and when a legendary pokemom ask for help and you are the prontsgonist you cannot say no. So ash did not reallese goodra nor greeninja. Pigeoto choose to leave and I never saw the lapras episode. As for the rest only naganadel was a dump reallese cuz of his power as go for butterfree is a uselles and weak pokemon but reallesing a pokemon is still an idiots move.
