WEST BALI NATIONAL PARK and Pemuteran Beach

- For our last 2 days exploring West Bali, we checked into a villa on Pemuteran Beach and visited the beautiful temples close by overlooking the water. These temples are unusual as they have both Balinese Hindu and Chinese decorations inside.
We also drove to West Bali National Park with the hopes of spotting some wild deer on the beach and checked out The Menjangan Hotel and funky bamboo treehouse restaurant. Another fun adventure here in beautiful Bali, Indonesia in 2021!

wow...I want to go here... I swam off the black sand beach, back many years ago. There were no restaurants or resorts back in 1991 ... that we came across anyways. Thanks for all the amazing videos...Sad about Covid and lack of biz for locals.. but hopefully they can hang on until it is OK to travel again. Happy travels !

Why is the sand black?
Most beaches in Bali have black sand due to all the surrounding volcanos. You'll see the same in iceland, Hawii etc. It's made from eroded volcanic materials such as lava.

I manage to learn a few Balinese words and they are quite similar to Sri Lankan words and also there are Similarities of letters as well.
