Hans Zimmer. Interstellar. The Interstellar OST is one of my favorite movie scores of all time. Although I‘ve been playing the main theme for years now I somehow never made a proper recording of it, so I decided it was time to finally do it. This is a rather spontaneous and improvised take, it contains some parts that are similar to Kyle Landry‘s epic arrangement but I was mainly noodling around during the recording session. Do you like it? Lemme know what you think below!
You were better then Rousseau and Patrik Pietschman combined!!!!!!!!!!!

Still one of the blessings of YT. Otherwise so much talent (not only this great pianoplayer) would never be able to reach it's intended audience.
Yes. Like this song is not too hard, but the guy nailed it. In these song u must have feelings for music. And that he has so he is talented. He play it much better than Patrik (50 mil. views) and this guy has only 300k. :(

I'm 67 years old and God never gave up on me. I'm healed of addictions and a 3 time cancer survivor. I am not worthy God but you love me just as I am!
Respect ❤️
Keep it up man healing takes time
Glory to God ❤
God is good all the time, and all the time god is good♥️
For me I think it wasn’t god who helped you, but you hoping to survive and not giving up. It is always yourself, who makes decisions in life. Some people say you can’t give up, or the disease will make you come to your death.
So, from what I as an atheist can say, is, that the spirit to never stop hoping and deciding in life lies somewhere in your god. I hope you understand how I mean it.
I’m happy for you to survive cancer 3 times. To heal of addictions. Everyone should stay as they are, because that’s what makes people up.
I wish you good luck in your life. And if you ever get cancer again, never give up. Because that’s the thing that lets the cancer win. But let’s hope that it doesn’t even come to that!

One of my great regrets in life will be never having learning the piano. My son however has been playing for 25yrs and I've asked him to learn this for my 70th.
thats awesome! it's not too late, give it a try! the worst that happens is you try and fail, but then you can try again. :) maybe one day you can play this piece alongside your son! happy 70th.
Give piano a try. It is definitely worth it!
Let us know if he learned it! And it's never too late to learn!
Pretty late reply but it is NEVER too late to learn! I started learning when i was 14, i know people who started learning when they were 40 or 50. You don't have to be the best next pianist, fuck that... You just have to care for the instrument and for the music it offers you... Music is therapeutic... Go for it!
you're never too old to learn man. live your life to where you cannot regret anything so when you're on your deathbed remembering your life you can tell yourself "I have no regrets".
I recently played this beautiful piece at a recital in my city. It took over a year to master but the pay-off was worth everything. I will never forget this piece.

No cap. But for the past few days I've been imagining this playing at my funeral. I'd want them to like show a collage of photos starting from me growing up, to my family then to my wife/girlfriend and kids then ends with a photo of me, my gf and kids. Lol that would be nice. Not this version of the song tho cos this a bit too much (Patrick Peits) version is a lot more fitting.
I will bring this music artwork and a lot of special brownies for those who will come. Leave some coords bro. Will take care of it
Zimmer is a genius creating this soundtrack, Nolan is a genius directing a movie like Interstellar. A masterpiece has been born!
This makes me want to start playing again. Self taught at 10 yrs old bc of videos like this. I'm 23 now. This made my inner child wake up. Time to hand over the reigns.
i'm 70 and I hadn't played in 50 years until I bought a piano 2 weeks ago. Long story short, I bought this version of the sheet music yesterday (MusicNotes) and it is way out of my league BUT.... While I work through all of the scales, chords, arpeggios of building up my skills again, this will serve as my great white whale to inspire me through the difficulties. Whether I succeed or fail, I will become a much better pianist striving to achieve this. Yes, I will focus on the usual "Fur Elise", "Moonlight Sonata" and other training pieces I had already "mastered" long ago.but just taking the time to dissect "Interstellar" piece by piece as I do that will pay off. I am just mesmerized by listening to those who play this well enough to make it sparkle. It is so much more complex than I had imagined.
On millers planet watching this masterpiece would cost you 1 year
Really did u do the calculations
@@tarun6101 Yeah, they’re pretty simple, -1 hour on millers is 7 years. 1/10 of an hour is 6 mins (same as video). So 1/10 of 7 years is 7months. So Yh around a year

You can sense how much raw creativity there is in his version because if you look carefully in the sections where there are faster notes required, he doesn't play some of them, meaning that he didn't even have to transcribe this himself to play it perfectly, just shows how talented he is to play this from his soul rather than a mechanical approach.
It was people like this who inspired me to create my own piano channel a few months back and I am extremely grateful for it, it would mean the world to me if you checked out some videos and even subscribed :) happy christmas

This song is the official music of the UNIVERSE
I've been playing piano for 13 years now and began learning this today! This is such I beautiful song and a beautiful arrangement. It's a little difficult with smaller hands but I'll manage. I'll update this comment with my progress, wish me luck!
Edit: Oct 29: I don't have a ton of time to practice because of school but I Have the first 3 pages down pretty good, just need to get it a little faster.
Mar. 16 been very busy and havnt been playing as much as I'd like to, but currently I'm kinda stuck in a spot where I can get through the whole song, but I struggle to keep it smooth and fast through alot of spots. I'm absolutely loving this song though, and I'm glad I chose to learn it. It's been 5 months since I started learning, and I think if I just never took breaks (I took breaks up to a week sometimes because I didn't have access to my piano) I could have this song down by now, seems like I'd come back and be where I was a month before.
Also, one more thing, alot of people are commenting weather or not they should learn it, and say how long they've been playing. In my opinion, years on the piano doesn't matter a whole lot, as I know a few people with closer to 7 or 8 years that are even better to me. I think if your really passionate about piano, willing to put in the work, and are still confident in your skills after reviewing the sheet notes, you should go for it! But on the other hand, if your self taught, or only practice every once in a while, I recommend taking actual lessons, as it motivates you to actually put time in, because someone is depending on you to practice. Everyone learns at vastly different speeds so I think it's really up to guys and whether or not your confident enough in your skills to play this
Wow 13 years playing. I've only been for 5 but I haven't been able to play for 3. My fingers must be like a wires. Do you think I can do it?? I wanna come back to it but these kind of sings make me think that maybe I can't
@@3213470 Yes you can, just keep following your passion for piano and you will make it

Absolutely beautiful. This rendition gave me the strongest introspective moment. How everything is going to end, how first I'll lose my parents... and then myself. Never to be experience the joys of life again. Memento Mori, the highest form of art remember us of our own mortality, and how much we need to appreciate the here and now, as much as we can.
Absolute immacualte facts
I already lost my dad, and I know my mom will eventually be the next to go. I never thought about how important life is, I remember while I was young thinking about how I couldn't wait to get older, now I'm 40 wishing I was younger again. I could of done a lot more in life while in my 20's and 30's, but I just wasted those years smoking pot and playing video games all day, now I regret it. I'll just focus on my children growing up while I get old now. Every morning I wake up I'll cherish the time I have left on this planet, I'll be I'll keep telling my kids to live life to the fullest... hopefully they'll understand how important life is while they're still young and not make the same mistake I did.
