as an additon to a normal sandwich (or burger), chips actually can work really well, its just unusual here. chips add texture and some flavor, but they're risky because often times, they're overpowering. yet for example a burger with guacamole, bacon and tortilla chips fokin SLAPS. When you're running out of money at the end of the month you probably still have a couple of slices of bread (untoasted toast in the UK) and some crisps lying around, ergo: crisps sandwich. It's quite tasty, honestly and the crunch of the crisps paired with the soft bread is a good combination. My favourite combination was crisps, cream cheese and shredded cheddar.

Lebe gerade in Irland und die machen das hier auch so mit den weltberühmten Tayto Chips. Schmeckt tatsächlich ziemlich geil, zwei Scheiben Weißtoast (ungetoastet), ordentlich Irische Butter und eine Packung Crisps (haben so kleine 18-25g Packungen).
