    Learning archaeology almost entirely from a textbook in virtual learning can be exhausting and confusing. I am a virtual and audio learner so this helps a lot, thank you!

      @@DigItWithRaven Covering the use of the dumpy level and optical transit would be great for learning spatial measurement.

    Thank you for this. Attending a dig for a week later this month. Volunteering and wanting to have some concepts understood before I step on the site. THIS HELPED A LOT!

    Venturi systems would speed up archaeological excavations in places like Egypt very well. A quarter inch screen of steel plate could differentiate between the sand and any finds of archaeological value. Such a system could remove tons of sand from an archaeological site while preserving the position of even modest size Stones underneath. With multiple venturis in line the sand could be moved long distances quickly and efficiently. For long duration digs it might even be possible to power the pumps with solar arrays positioned for shade over the dig site resulting in a multiplication of benefits. Please take a look at venturi granular convenience. Your kinda cute by the way but I've been drinking so I'm being more honest than usual.

    • @DigItWithRaven
      @DigItWithRaven  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Esme, if you like Osteology, I have a friend who did her Masters at the University of Leiden and they have a GREAT osteology lab. Are you looking to continue in that?

    • @exodusbby4546
      @exodusbby4546 Před 4 lety +2

      Dig It With Raven I love Osteology, and Leiden University was actually my first pick for college but I would definitely like to continue studies for Archaeology and maybe Anthropology. Does Leiden have anthropology? My goal is to be able to get a PhD in Archaeology then a masters in Osteology.

      @DigItWithRaven  Před 4 lety +2

      Leiden does have a cultural anthropology MSc! Have a look at their website to see if the program is something you're interested in😊
