  • Today we're picking through the remains of Scotland's Euros hopes after a poor start, and bigging up England's chances.
We also look ahead to Reform's manifesto launch this afternoon, after another candidate was dropped for urging people to vote for the BNP in 2010.

Can always trust the podcast to cheer me up. I literally had the worst weekend. I was at my twenty-five year old sister's engagement party and decided to say hello to this Scottish drunkard standing alone by himself in the corner. Without any word of warning he began to man handle me and pummelled me into the ground before verbally abusing me for my inadequate physique, which rekindled all of my previous anxieties regarding my body image. If anyone reading this was there and experienced the same, do get in touch, I will be pressing charges.

" So, you want the end of the Good Friday Agreement? "

The other argument they parrot is that we already have human rights law made by Winston Churchill in 1945.

18:03 actually Keir Starmer was on AFTV a few months ago, AFTV being the biggest football fan channel on CZcams with about 1.65 million subscribers.
It was pretty dull to be honest, he diydnt come across as authentic, not that I mind if our political leaders have the same hobbies as me but it felt very performative in how he was winging it and acting like he's been a lifelong season ticket holder.
Also John Bercow was on there too, but post politics and not for publicity, and you can tell he's actually sincere and passionate about Arsenal.

On behalf of Ireland, you're not our biggest rival anymore. In rugby it's South Africa because of their fans and our media. Or New Zealand because they keep knocking us out of quarter finals. The provinces all have their own individual rivalries, Leinster-La Rochelle, Munster-Glasgow etc. In football it's probably Israel now because we couldn't hope to compete with England and we hate Israel. In everything else if we did better than England that's good but it's not really a rivalry anymore.

Farage only wants one thing - to be Conservative party leader. His delusion is that Reform will win enough seats & the Tories to lose enough to force a merger, whereupon he will immediately attempt to take control of both & win the 2029 election. This obviously overlooks several major variables. Firstly, Farage will need to win this election (8th times a charm). Secondly, Reform will need to win more than the predicted 7 seats. Thirdly, Conservative losses would need to be so drastic that 7 additional seats would be beneficial and lastly, which Tory MPs retain their seats. He might have some fans within the Conservatives but, many are just as self-serving & ambitious as Farage. Those ones are not going to allow a usurper to get the top slot before they have a chance.

Nappies are essential for serious direct action. If you're going to be locked on for hours, defeating many attempts to cut off arm tubes, D-locks and cunning devices, then you need nappies. Adult ones available from every pharmacy. It's not really disgusting at all because they work and stay dry. Eventually, they'd get overloaded and then would be disgusting, I guess. but I've never worn them long enough for that to happen. On one action which didn't come off, the hardware was all stashed the night before and the cops didn't find it. But they did know about it, so they stopped us and nicked everyone wearing nappies. All released after a couple of hours (nappies not being a crime - yet) and police sued, but the action didn't happen.

I love that this and all other "progressive" podcasts spend all their time enthisiastically talking about Farage, but just dismiss left wing parties like the worker's party and revolutionary communist party.
I wonder why the right wing and capitalism are considered our only options?

    • @samuelberlin6765

The Worker's Party is left-wing on economic issues, but hard right on social issues. Left-wing my tukhes

    • @brainbane8550
      @brainbane8550 Před 10 dny

@@samuelberlin6765 No, it isn't. Labour and the Lib Dems are "hard right" (whatever that means) in that they have supported the maiming, kidnapping and murder of children across the middle east for decades, now. They also support the ongoing exploitation of the third world for its slave labour and valuable resources.
Why is the worker's party hard right? Because they acknowledge the role immigration plays in wage suppression. If you read theory, you'd know that Marx and Engels also acknowledge this connection.
Or, is it because Galloway doesn't conform to the latest fringe opinions about trans people? Horror!

The Workers Party isn’t left, how can you the party be left with facist adjacent views?

My comments are being deleted. Lovely.
Fascism is society organised into violently enforced hierarchies of rights and privilege based on identifiers including but not limited to skin colour, s*x, s*xuality and perhaps most important of all, wealth.
The West is fascist. Most westerners don't understand this because most of us are far enough up the hierarchy that we're generally not on the receiving end of our fascism.
There is nothing Fascist about the worker's party. It's an absurd accusation.
An example of a fascist would be someone who supports LGBTQ and trans rights, and also supports Israel. That's a fascist. A fascist is a black westerner who joins western armed forces to go commit war crimes on behalf of capitalism. A fascist believes in things like racial IQs having meaningful significance and tends to believe in what they like to call "natural order", which is, as I said, violently enforced hierarchies.
Fascism is the west dictating to African and West Indian nations who they are and aren't allowed to do business with, even as their plunder of that continent continues.
Fascism is most of Zimbabwe and South Africa's arrable land being owned by racist separatist whites, and Africa being forced to for some reason rely on Ukraine of all places for food, as dictated by the west.
Fascism is not George Galloway saying he doesn't think children should be taught that they can transition.

Pretty sure they're joking - also not being a fan of football is not a personality trait, grow up.
It's normal to only take interest in the national games, and if you can't have a bit of fun with mates watching different countries sparring over a game of football, you don't need to go telling everyone about it.
