Love this so much!
That is one angry looking tomato at 5:30. This really is that peak time for the garden. I love to walk around and marvel at all the beauty and bounty as it changes everyday. Thanks for sharing.
Yes Sir there is nothing better then sitting back and watching our gardens bloom to the max! We work so hard on getting things in order and grow the best they can. I love sitting out there relaxing and looking at it. Not a beer drinker but Rene says cheers buddy! She will have one with ya! You have done one amazing job this season brother! Loved the tour! Keep up the awesome work my friend and hope you have a great week!
Thanks guys! Cheers and have a great one!
Your garden does look great! I felt the need to take a break about half way through and go and look around my garden! It does make you feel closer to the Lord.
Klaus
Amen!
It truly is a miracle considering the poor growing conditions we had for most of the season. :-)
I loved the way you did your tour. Everything looks awesome. Thank you for sharing
Thank you and it was my pleasure absolutely!
You've earned that beer Oppe! Your garden tells a magnificent story.
Thank you..... :-)
Oppe the garden told me a story. It said "thanks Oppe for taking care of me all summer. Relax and have a few beers". Or something like that.😎😎😎
Amen!
Opie that garden looks awesome!
Thanks Jim! I really appreciate your support.
Cheers!
This was really nice Oppe! The garden did indeed tell it's own story.
Cheers,
Rob
It's a beautiful thing. A true blessing....
I really enjoyed the thumbnail, and your tour is next level my friend.
Thank you! I really appreciate that!
Loved this! It was very relaxing.
Thank you!
Very well done, I expect we will see more videos like this.
I'm hoping we get an indian summer and push this growing season well into October this year. Fingers crossed! I would love to have a spectacular fall garden as well.
Very cool Opie!!
Thanks Linda!
I always appreciate when you stop by. You're such an integral part of the community it's great to see you. Thanks for what you do! Take care!
OMG! Opie drinks 64! -- same here! Anyway, great video, and your garden is a freakin' paradise! beautiful job Opie (and nature)!
Haha...
I 64 is perfect on a hot summer day. I can guzzle a few and still get things done. Otherwise I prefer a Fat Tire or Sam Adams Octoberfest. Thanks for stopping by!
@@BrewCityGardener Same here! Sometimes you want to pound back a few and still have your wits about you!
Awesome tour buddy! Great way to put a spin on a very common video
Thank you, Josh. I wanted to put a spin on the tour and spotlight the beauty of it. A bit too long but at least I enjoy watching the whole thing. Plus my 8 year old daughter says its perfect so yeah....there's that...lol.
Oppe - Beautifully said. Thanks for sharing! It just occurred to me to ask whether ground cherries are related to Chinese lantern plants?
Thank you!
Yes, it is a member of the Solanaceae family. However, you don't want to eat the fruits the same as you would with a ground cherry. In small amounts they are known as a medicinal but I wouldn't recommend eating them. Ground cherries aren't as invasive at Chinese Lantern are though they do self seed very easily. Great question!
@@BrewCityGardener I am ordering some ground cherries from Baker now for next year.
@@mudhuthomestead8545 You will love them. It's by far the favorite in my family. The kids run straight to the ground cherries whenever they go out to the garden.
