@@starrynightguitars that would be cool, I had flats on my T-486 and it sounded great to me (but Im partial to flats 🙂) I have heard of 'half flats' but havent tried them yet..
@@starrynightguitars I currently use diadarrio flats .11 gauge (I dont do much bending at all) but I can bend a whole step at the 12th fret (on the G string) and 1/2 step on 5th fret (G string), Im thinking about going down to .10s as they may be a bit softer on the nails (as Im trying to play more /exclusively finger style)
@@proverbs11vs30 -thanks! Yes, I’m thinking tens as well. I put a set of 11s on my telecaster and I just couldn’t bend anything. That might’ve been because of the scale length but I’m thinking I give 10s a shot.
