The summer after I fell in love with a girl in Camebridge Maryland and she introduced me to DMB and I fell in love with Dave. The love for Dave has lasted.
I was there. I left for my first year of college directly after the show. Two friends drove me to the Greyhound station in DC, and I left for NYC. Then a torrential rainstorm came and flooded their car. They spent the whole night trying to get out of there. I got to NYC before they got home that night, which was just down the street from the Birchmere (the old one). Good times.

I can't believe he's 26-27 here. What I mean is that I can believe it took I until the late 90s for them to really blow up. He's so good here in 94.
They blew up in 95. I saw them in a small club in April 95 in Orlando and by the time the summer was over they were playing amphitheater’s to sold out shows. Then in the summer of 96 they were so popular they played four shows in Pittsburgh that year, 2 in June and came back for 2 in August. All sold out.
@@davidsaylor6151 - I saw them in `94 at American University in DC. The show was completely packed, but the band is from 2 hours down the road so it was mostly a locals gig. I actually only live 2 miles from the Birchmere now.
Cleon McMillan Yeah not saying they didn’t sell out shows but the big 25,000+ amphitheater crowds wasn’t until late 95 early 96. I saw them again in August 95 at a small amphitheater, maybe heals 3,000 in Pittsburgh PA but by the next summer the shows were huge.
Just lost a dear friend who I was close with for the last 33 years to drugs and alcohol. Everyone who cared for her tried so hard to get her away from heroin and the crowd she had been keeping the last year but she just wouldn't give it up. This song really hits home, its almost like it was written for her in some regards. My life will never be the same without her 💔

I am very sorry for the loss of your dear friend. The devil is absolutely real and relentlessly tempts all of us in one way or another. I imagine your friend was so beautiful and pure before evil and addiction stole her from her hopes and dreams. I pray you stay strong and cherish the memories. Be thankful for all the great times as hard or unfair as it seems. Keep the faith and I promise you'll see your friend again! May God bless you friend.
What an incredible video and song. The song has a haunting feeling. I can't contain my smiles when I see Dave smiling. You can truly tell what would be easily known later, which is he never did it for the money. At a almost 400 million dollar networth this man love preforming as much as we love showing up. See you again in 24' SPAC and Camden this year!

I am melting...1996 is when I fell in Love with DMB, the same year my daughter was born...His lyrics have lifted me up, when I have been at the bottom...Thank you Dave! and DMB, you talented geniuses!

Probably my favorite Dave and Tim live performance. So young, yet unbelievable like veterans. Absolutely perfect and beautiful. Other favorite...Loving Wings Live at the Gorge on LeRoi's birthday. Check it out, LeRoi's sax solo is ridiculous. Big fan of proudest monkey live at red rocks as well.

I had no idea these videos existed. I was a huge DMB fan in the late 90's and throughout the 00's. If you have video footage of live at yoshi's where they play Dont Burn the Pig (my username)., and #40 that would be ahhhmazing. That whole "unplugged" show was magical.
I have seen small clips of this but never the entire version. Just an exquisite performance.

Wow, this is absolutely stunning!!! Beautiful sound quality and incredible performance!! I've been wanting this show to be released for years... so grateful that it's finally happening! The mix here is gorgeous, and it's making me that much more excited for the full release in a few weeks!
By the way, I can't believe y'all have video footage of this show, too!! PLEASE release some more videos synced with the official audio mix of LT 48 on CZcams just like this one if you guys are not comfortable selling it as a full on DVD or Blu-ray since it's just one shot. We'd all love to watch whatever other songs you have footage of, I'm sure!! (Either way, thanks for this, though. It's a real treat!)
