the first I heard of epica was the skeleton key, on a local internet metal radio station I remember being confused why a song on omega was called part iii, this trilogy truly is a work of art. it sounds almost like one 37 minute song
As much as I FAR prefer 1 to 2 & 3, that is the most striking definition of them. Especially the 2nd stands out on its own, being more slow, brooding and atmospheric, compared to 1 & 3 :)

does anyone know why they named these songs the way they did? the fisrt being King of Heaven - A new Age Down, Pt, 5 makes me wonder if theres a part 1-4, and then the 2nd changes the naming scheme; by calling it self the Quantum Enigma, sub titled Kindom of Heaven, pt. ii. changed the main title, to sub title, changed the type of pt to roman numerals. then the 3rd pt: kingdom of heaven, pt.3 = the Antediluvian. now they changed the whole scheme again; with the title being brought back (kingdom of heaven), but adding an immediate pt 3, with a subtitle change. it makes the trilogy seem disconencted; until you reread the names and realize they are all related to 'kingdom of heaven'; though what is the correct way to listen? pt2, and pt3, and then pt5? are they going to release a pt1 and pt 4 inthe future? i wonder.. sorry, high as hell, and jamming out to some of the best music ever. just got me thinking

So “New Age of Dawns” is another sequel that includes songs; Hunad k’u (Prologue), The Last Crusade, Mother of Light, Coming to Oblivion, Resign to Surrender, Kingdom of Heaven (being part 5 or the fifth song on this sequel) and Design your Universe. The compilation here is to put together all the "Kingdom of Heaven" songs.
Mark said in an interview that he totally forgot about Kingdom of Heaven being part of "A new Age Dawns" when he decided to write a second part.

does anyone know why they named these songs the way they did?
the fisrt being King of Heaven - A new Age Down, Pt, 5 makes me wonder if theres a part 1-4, and then the 2nd changes the naming scheme; by calling it self the Quantum Enigma, sub titled Kindom of Heaven, pt. ii. changed the main title, to sub title, changed the type of pt to roman numerals.
then the 3rd pt: kingdom of heaven, pt.3 = the Antediluvian. now they changed the whole scheme again; with the title being brought back (kingdom of heaven), but adding an immediate pt 3, with a subtitle change.
it makes the trilogy seem disconencted; until you reread the names and realize they are all related to 'kingdom of heaven'; though what is the correct way to listen?
pt2, and pt3, and then pt5?
are they going to release a pt1 and pt 4 inthe future?

And yes: There are A New Age Dawns intro, and parts 1-4 and part 6. They all have subtitles.
