I love seeing them make the full albums available like this 🤭 Consign to Oblivion is one of the first albums I got into despite starting very late, and also one of the albums I replay the most from their discography. The two final songs in this video are mislabelled; it is Palladium first and then Solitary Ground Remix, but the whole album is pure gold and so immensely nostalgic.

@@CaedusMaxima33 I 100% agree. If I want to hear a remix I specifically look up the remixes, but they make me feel like I'm listening to the song through a ton of jell-o XD

Foi com Consign to Oblivion que conheci essa banda. Isso foi durante a pandemia (nunca fui chegado ao symphonic metal, sempre preferindo algo mais extremo; Epica foi a banda responsável pelo recente despertar do meu interesse por esse subgênero). Me sinto particularmente atraído principalmente pelos temas líricos das canções. Hail from Belo Horizonte, Brazil! 🤘
O bom da Epica é que eles sabem muito bem mesclar o metal com o erudito, coisa que muitas bandas do gênero não conseguem. Fora as letras muito inteligentes e bem-escritas, você nota que eles estudaram antes de compor, concordando ou não com a mensagem que eles querem passar. Pra mim eles são artistas incríveis, uma raridade não só no metal, mas na música moderna como um todo.
Eu também sou mais chegado no metal extremo, mas o EPICA é minha banda favorita de todos os tempos

Uma belíssima homenagem à cultura Maia, com letras muito bem escritas, mesmo o inglês não sendo o primeiro idioma deles. O que eu amo nesta banda é que dá para notar o esforço para fazer trabalhos bem feitos em cada canção, e é por isso que os músicos da Epica sempre serão os meus favoritos! Tanto os membros atuais, quanto os antigos que contribuíram muito também para construir essa história belíssima e com muita riqueza musical e cultural ao longo dos 8 álbuns. Fica aqui o meu agradecimento à esta banda por me fazer conectar com suas músicas de forma que nenhum outro artista conseguiu. Que venha o próximo álbum que eu tenho certeza que será espetacular, como todos os outros! ❤️
