Hawthorne Heights was one of the bands who put the genre on notice back in 2004-2006. I'm glad they're still creating music despite all the roadblocks they had.

the newer drummer is dope af! I seen him in 2010 at a HH show with Mark McMillan I believe is his last name. they were a two man band at the time and a good act!!!! the drummers fills we're crazy though for only being a single pedal player

RavenOne I think it's awesome I think the hope and hurt eps are underrated as fuuu though. More people need to hear them. I listen to all three sometimes when I am going on a long car ride. They sound 100x better in order :P

I missed a lot of silversteins set because they opened at my set but I caught about four songs or so and I still got to meet them so I was over the moon! I wish I could have made it to the anniversary tour definitely jealous of that one!
Yes it was a very hard choice since I really do like them both equally. I chose HH in the end because they don't tour as often and I was not sure if they would come to my town again for a while.
Only thing I disagree with: "we are *created* equal..." In the spirit of inclusiveness, let's not insist on us all being created by a supernatural being. It's highly alienating to many. Thanks carry on.
