      @@happy__human I think they actually build an in-door environment that imitates the natural habitat, rather than sit there and wait for the snail to "hunt".
      There is a short clip explaining how they did "in-door" videos to mimic animals in their natural habitat.

    I found some juvenile sails on my property in the Far North of NZ. So excited when I did my research and realised what they were. The fact I found the young snails means they are breeding here. I am a lot more careful now when working around my property so not to endanger them.

      A number of fully aquatic marine snails are carnivores as well, cone snails are the best known, and some equipped with a poisonous, shooting harpoon, so deadly that it can kill people with it. I believe there are still some you tube videos about them as well.

      I'm not sure about aquatic snails, but with the cone snails I'm sure the ocean has no shortage of them either!

      @@Leftnutamni I'm confident that they overlayed that squishy-gooey audio as the snail and worm move for dramatic effect. People often add similar manufactured audio to slow motion videos, since the actual slow audio is sometimes unrecognizably down-shifted in frequency.

      Tom tonka Snails have extremely low metabolisms (which is why they're so slow) so they probably have to feed once every one-two weeks.

      I wonder if there was even a single actual natural sound in this clip. Having pet snails, I know the sounds they make. It's an occasional "pff" of them opening their breathing hole; rasping of radula on something they are eating or trying to; occasional rumble of their shell rubbing against something; a loud bang of a snail falling off. None of these "slime" sounds.
