Thank you for another great airgun instalment and interesting watch and listen.
Thats really fantastic news about Theoben. I was never allowed near air rifles growing up, being a teenager in the eighties.
I remember grabbing my chance to look at my dads Airgun World before he came home from work. I remember being blown away looking the pellet magazines, cocking levers and air cylinders on the air rifles, as apposed to the inconvenience of sourcing and loading every pellet. They looked absolutely fantastic air rifles.
I'm so so pleased to learn that someone has purchased Theoben. They were far too good of a manufacturer to just fade away and disappear. To me, they were iconic and with great respect, I hope the new purchasers do Theoben proud with their new models and ideas going forward. Thank you again gentlemen, for a great show. Ian.
john darling would definatly be no1 on my list. still have his videos. the real gentleman of airgunning. sad that he died early and so young..

Good news always liked Theoben had a couple in the past my only concern is there is a lot of competition now, hoping they do well though.
As the owner of 5 Theoben PCP rifles including my all time favourite a 0.20 MFR this news is exciting 😁
As Testimony to Theoben I still have my scirocco.22 and it's still a great rifle
I have a Ben Taylor FX cyclone solid little carbine, But do love theoben rifles had a few over the years, some i wish i still had like the fenman and evolution, enjoy your videos thumbs up..

Impact air guns was making Theoben air rifles again for a short period, with what looked like an upgraded Evolution and a couple of other rifles. Theoben’s are nice guns, but getting parts is a nightmare, I needed a piston seal for an Evolution and I tried various gun shops in the North West, most of them didn’t know it was a 31mm seal, HW90 are a 30mm, in the end I emailed Theoben in the USA and they said that they had made some for Michael Twan, so got one of him, and then there’s all the different types of piston seal they did, because they were always trying to find a more efficient one, and some models like to burn the piston seals out even at uk limit, the Gamo triggers are rubbish, the HW90 is a lot more reliable rifle, and can look just as good in a custom stock. Always wanted an SLR, good looking rifle.
Certain Theoben gas rams are as sort after as Venom rifles

Hi guys ,your slightly off about the first single shot pre charged pneumatic rifle as in the 18th century their were plenty of single shot pneumatic rifles using in some cases a ball shaped resevoir charged up by hand pumps . In fact the Austrian army used a version in Napoleononic times for sniping .
Hi Paul, first commercial pcp rifle was Joe Wilkins. We didn’t mention the Girandoni air rifles either, first ever air rifle as it was 1779.

With regards the others you have mentioned. Your absolutely right, the world of Airguns wouldn’t be complete without the likes of Styer and FWB, however in mine and Gareth’s Top 10 (personal opinions) they haven’t had as bigger impact on us.
Out of interest, what’s your top ten?

I thought RAW were now owned by the group who owns AirForce Airguns in the USA ?
they are-where but getting stock over here in uk over the past few years has just not happened....the way the lads described it someone uk based now has the rights/licence to make theoben rifles.....very early day, no real info out there, nothing on companies house as of yet....my fear is they go the same way Webley did and head out turkey to save costs
