    1) Our cities have developed so haphazardly with zero planning, need rebuilding and restructuring
2)hygiene and cleanliness at public places, shoud be made a legally enforceable fundamental duty
    3) one nation one election

Agree with points 1 & 2, we need to implement Netherlands-style human centric urban planning, but you can't just demolish people's houses without first reforming the judiciary.
One nation, one election is a horrible idea, it will lead to neglect of local and state races compared to general elections, which will only increase political polarization.
Of course, the ruling dispensation sees this not as a problem, but as a benefit.

Of course, the ruling dispensation sees this not as a problem, but as a benefit." - True but the argument for One Nation One Election is that the campaign money required for elections will reduce since it will be spent only once. The increasing need of spending during campaigns leads to crony capitalism and corruption.

@@arunsar7893 Election funds can still be saved by clubbing state and local elections together and conducting elections in a staggered manner:
      Year 0 - Local; Year 2.5 - General; Year 5 - Local; Year 7.5 - General…
This will give the public the opportunity to vote once in 2.5 yrs instead of every 5 yrs. We can gather data on the relative performance of different governments, like whether ‘single- engine _sarkar’_ leads to gridlock or whether ‘double-engine _sarkar’_ leads to complacency.
As for campaign financing, the Supreme Court striking down electoral bonds and retroactively making them public has already done a lot. And if anything, only having to bribe a _babu_ once in 5 yrs means you can give a lot more and corrupt more officers than if you had to bribe twice as often.

Modi government has made a fool about the whole bill by being first to over ride the law by doing " Operation Lotus with Yedi and team in Karnataka" for long time since 1985, none would ever think of defection until Modi Ji made a mohalla about such process.

Out of Three, big big one is Judiciary reforms. Judiciary mostly spent time politicians corruption, looting, drug and rough issues too much. Always focused on taking these criminals appeals immediately and delay the process of punishing culprits. Unnecessary stay, bail, parol to these criminals by SC rather taking appeal against release of criminals. Looting Politicians, criminals cases should be fast tracked with short time frame of 3 to 6 months to bring Nation growth faster

In all government departments from the Center to the village, personal financial rewards should be linked to specific criteria of relevant output. For example, for a college teacher it could be measures of teaching effectiveness and research, and for a village it could be indices of citizens satisfaction and services provided as well as small private investments created. I hope Mr. Sanyal would consider some of these micro issues worthy of his attention.

    Nutrition
    Hygiene
Physical, Mental Health and Sexual Health
Yoga as physical training if opposed by handful then option maybe for Tai chi or something else should be there.
Needs hands on, life skills starting from cooking, mechanics, wood work, gardening, music, art etc should be introduced at elementary level.
If the kids are still buying and carrying books to school then reduce the physical burden by making 2 sets of book for free one for home other for school and returned at the end of the year.

  • @arunkottolli

I agree with all three areas.
    1. Judicial reforms is badly needed. Improvement is enforcing contract laws, and clearing the huge backlog of cases that has held up billions of dollars of capital.
    2. Reforms at the ground administration level: City municipalities, city corporations, village panchayat, zilla panchayat levels where people interact with government administration on regular basis. Making the local government bodies becoming service oriented and growth oriented.
    3. Increase investments in education. We will need another 50 IITs AIIMS, IIMS in next 10 years. Students from India should not look at foreign universities for basic college education. Instead India should become a global hub for education.
    4. Defence sector reform.
We need to accelerate reforms in our national defence sector. Current pace of new weapons development is too slow. The bureaucracy in procurement is killing development. Tejas, Cauvery engine MBT Arjun are classic examples. Even after a decade, Indian army is not able to finalise its gun procurement!
If we reform our defence sector, it can contribute $One trillion to our economy.
    5. Social reforms: UCC, free up temples from government control, remove places of worship act, waqf board etc.

The contracts in India are not even ready for any scaling, without that the common people of India can not get into assets as they do not have the same power as the big players who mend the rules as per their wish to drive the deals.. any developed society would need to have 100% and accessible rule of law, think of USA in that regards how beautiful their judiciary system is.

We and the politicians talk too much about our progress.
Yes we are making some progress but what about:
    1. Gdp per capita and not gdp only ( 2 CHILDREN POLICY)?
    2. Wealth distribution?
    3. Health care , justice and education for all?
    4. HDI?
    5. Planning, organization, discipline and respect in our society?
    6. Easier way of day to day living ?
    6. Cleanliness, pollution free and beautification of every village, town and cities?

Infra , administration & judiciary need an overhaul.
While infrastructure is being taken care of, administration system must cease and convert to Citizens advocacy and judiciary needs an overhaul but made sure that it remains absolutely independent. Appointments of judiciary system must be transparent and again independent of the government.
    Police reforms is fourth.
There has to be accountability to the citizens if government is underperforming and major cities must have mayor system where mayor is appointed by citizens for citizens and has powers over government to course correct itself

Sustained investment is attainable but only if: a) there is a legal
Provision against Taxation with Retrosoective effect; b) hv a simole codified Labour Law with a single window legal system for time bound redressal of Greviances of Employer & Employee.; c) Land aquisition & title deed laws are simplified & the govt authority has its own land bank. These 3 are the Main hurdles to suataining increased investment. As far as governance is concerned:
The IAS, IPS & the Judiciary are the iron chains that holds back India bcoz these cadres are of a colonial mindset, unprofessional, exploitative, & are not disposed towards the well veing of the common people or the interest of of the Nation. These cadres are only concerned with their own perks, priveleges & dastardly existence. ⚓️⚔️🇮🇳
