    Brilliant and clear presentation with active participation. It is great how you don't digress into other grammar points, you just stick with a clear and straightforward presentation. You are a gifted teacher - thank you for these lessons

    SHOULD is vital for giving advice and expressing regrets in English. I will watch this vídeo several times to get to grips with this complex grammar in Spanish. Many thanks for another excellent lesson.👍
    ¡Deberías ganar un premio por hacer vídeos tan buenos! Muchas gracias.🎯 Debería ver uno de ellos cada día.😉 ¡Por cierto no deberíamos olvidarnos que estos vídeos gratis son suplementarios del curso excelente de ProSpanish!🤓 La verdad es que debería haber hecho este curso cuando empecé a aprender español porque mi progreso habría sido mucho más rápido y fácil. ¡Pero, mejor tarde que nunca!😜

    Excellent! 👏👏👏👏👏 Native linguist speaker here.
    Just a tip: @12:47 it could also be: Pablo ME debería HABER llamado.
    Other examples: Ana OS debería HABER avisado (or Ana debería haberOS avisado).
    Tus vecinos LE deberían HABER dejado la llave (a él o a ella) or Tus vecinos deberían haberLE dejado la llave.
    ⚠️ ALSO a very common mistake made by so many natives, including TV and radio! Beware! ⚠️⚠️
    Pablo debe hacer los deberes ✔ (Es una obligación).
    Pablo debe DE hacer los deberes ❌
    "DE" is used when we SUPPOSE something:
    Debe DE ser difícil aprender japonés.
    Debe DE estar lloviendo porque ha llegado mojada.
    I hope it helps! 😉

    Good vid, thanks. I'd like to add, as a quicker, more colloquial way to say it....."Lo hubieras hecho". You should have done it. Also, debes, deberias and debieras, most times are interchangeable

    What is the difference between “probar” and “tratar”? I mistakenly translated “probar” as “prove.”

    • @scotscub76
      @scotscub76 Před 4 lety +1

      I think probar is in the sense of trying something new out. Like to try on a new dress etc. Whereas tratar is more to try as in try to learn spanish or try to climb a mountain etc

    • @mideastmadness1
      @mideastmadness1 Před 2 lety

      @@scotscub76 Michael, great answer. To "try out" something (probar) is different than to "try to do" (tratar) something.

    QUESTION, Ok, If I am getting better with my verb conjugation tenses, the first examples were in the conditional tense with "ria" and "rias" being the give away. Put it looked like "Tenia" was in the imperfect tense? Do I have this right?

    • @alwayslearning7672
      @alwayslearning7672 Před 4 lety

      I think the verb deber impies 'must'-debes ser -you must be - but could be translated as 'you should be' aslo.Debería is conditional tense so it means should it that context.

    Kudos to you Sir!
    But Please, it is also possible to place the pronouns in front of the sentence?
    Example: To say " You should have called me". Can this also be said as:
    Me deberias haber llamado?
