  • Just a light bit of off roading to break the bikes in. I plan to get knobbly tyres for my Grom and do a lot more off roading!

    All things considered, that narrow bit where the peg was almost touching the stone, was well negotiated for a beginner off roader

    With them bikes you won't have to worry about fuel costs, Cheap as chips to run. Nice video. Cheers

    Thanks for sharing. I guess I need no bigger adventure bike.

      These are much easier to pick up than a big adventure bike too 😅

    the question is : which one is better between the grom and the cb?

      I have knobbly tyres on the Grom now so there's an advantage now

    Seeing they share the same cc, same brand, and close to the same hp, is there a difference in which of the two feel more lively? I could imagine with the thinner tyres the cb would be the best option for this type of riding.

      I haven't done as much off road on the cb but I think I would still go with the Grom because it's lower making it easy to dab when needed. I just fit knobbly tyres yesterday so there will be some more extreme off roading to come 😁

      I love my cb125f, and have done a wee bit of off roading on it, but IMHO the bike isn't really up to too much BECAUSE of the thinner tyres, it just doesnt feel as planted as i would like, and in the wet & mud doesnt inspire confidence of keeping you sunny side up, as well as a bit skiddy on loose gravel. I've never ridden a grom but with knobbly tyres it sounds like a better idea to me, but on the road and in the lanes the cb is great for many reasons. GL

    Hello, which of these two would you choose, if you should decide between them?

    What's the top speed of the cbf?

    • @vrum497
      @vrum497  Před rokem

      I got 112kmh I think. There's a max speed video on my channel!

      I got 63mph (101kph) downhill with wind behind sat upright when mine had done about 1000 miles from new. i'm 6' and 19st, and dont often go much above 50mph anyway. if you want speed it aint the machine for you lol.
