The amazing thing is how with the proper care, he will become a loving pet. Pits specifically seem to just want loved, no matter how bad they are treated. AMAZING
Accurate. An abandoned pit found her way into our lives. She literally ran up to my little dog & submitted to him. She's been amazing. It's been since Sunday but uggggh she's so loving and such a good girl. Appears to have been bred nursed babies & dumped
95 percent of time they just need time and love..

I just saw that Salmon died a couple of weeks ago. He, who so deserved the good life after what he'd been through, is no longer💔

Seeing that pups face with those sad eyes ripped my heart out. Its so great to see people try and help all the dogs left behind or worse. Thank you to all of you. I have to go hug my dog now.
Finally hes get the love an care after a long awful road he was on. He is adorable so sweet thankful hes getting better ❤

Poor baby. Pitbulls get such bad names and most of them are mean. I had one for over 10yrs and he was my big baby. Thank God someone is given this dog the chance to love and be loved. God bless everyone who is so kind and understanding 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

God said I need an animal strong enough to pull sleds, find the missing, protect and defend and find bombs and yet gentle enough to love babies and lead the blind’ warn of an impending seizure or help a soldier cope with the horrors of war. An animal that will spend all day on a couch with a resting head and supportive eyes for a broken heart.
So God made a Dog.
God said I need an animal who no matter what you didn’t do or couldn’t take or didn’t win or couldn’t make, will love you without judgement just the same. It had to be an animal who would remain patient and loyal even through loneliness, an animal to care for, cuddle, snuggle, and nuzzle and cheer and charm. An animal who would bring the family together with an open heart. An animal to bark, and then pant and then reply with the rapid wag of a tail, when their best friend says, “let’s go for a ride in the car.”
So God made a Dog.
God said I need an animal who would stand at your side when the world around you collapses. An animal to lie next to you during the long nights of pain and sorrow when it hurts to move, to talk, or think, or even be.
It had to be an animal that would stand guard, play games, snore for hours, fart without fore or second thought and repeat as needed.
So God made a dog.
An animal to give you strength when you have none of your own. An animal to fight when you have no fight left, to hold onto your soul as if it were their favorite toy, playing tug of war to keep you in this world. An animal to be your companion and guide in this world and the next. An animal to wait for you on the other side or stand guard in your absence until they can join you for eternity.
So God made a Dog

The Stupid Ridiculous image Pits are given by some is Sheer Ignorance. I'd Love to get one, we have a Staffy & these breeds are just pure Loving Babies. They can't do enough for you & just live for Love & Fun & attention. Animals with Negative reps NEVER deserve them, Domestic or Wild, there's Always Always a reason these things have happened. Thank God Tia & her Family rescue this Beautiful dog & the name Salmon is Super 💕

@@jennygrant7484 The problem isn't that they can't be nice dogs or make good pets, because many them are. The problem is that they need a lot of exercise and training for that to happen and too many of the people attracted to these breeds aren't the kind of people who commit to do that with their dogs. Sometimes they actively encourage negative traits, so the dogs have acquired a bad reputation that mostly belongs to irresponsible people. (and that's leaving out the sociopaths that breed and fight them).

RIP Salmon, gone but not forgotten! Unfortunately this poor baby had a lot more health issues than what was revealed in this clip. I'm just glad he got to experience love and kindness before the end.

I have a pit rescue who is almost 11-years-old. His name is Syrus and he is the sweetest dog I have ever had. I love him so much!! Pitties are the best!!!!
Ii would take him in a heartbeat. But i live the other side of the world. I'm nearly 70 so it wouldn't be fair to him because when he's well he will want to run and play and be very energetic. He is gorgeous.
Sadly he was very sick and did not make it.

Pitties when treated with love and guidance are so loyal and loving. By nature like so many animals and humans as well, they only get aggressive as a defense mechanism. Sadly the breed is so misunderstood because of abuse and mistreatment. The are great family dogs. I miss mine terribly. I would encourage anyone looking to adopt or rescue to seriously consider a Pittie. What you give you will receive two fold. They love to love. 💝💞💖
