I started with a new NCAA roster and created 20 of the best players in college Basketball in 2003 and placed them in their respective schools. But here's where it gets crazy: every offseason, I will create the top 15 recruits from the real-life recruiting class of that season, and then we will track the recruiting process to see where each one ends up. This recruiting is the lifeblood that will create the new college football powers, and we will see who will rise to the top and create new dynasties that will reshape the college Basketball world.

I’m really digging this concept. I’m excited to see guys who skipped college like JR Smith & Dwight Howard in NCAA.
Crazy thing is both of those guys were expected to sign with UNC had they gone to college and UNC still won the title without them. Could only imagine how filthy that team would have been with Dwight and JR on it.

awesome video. simcast might be more interesting than the actual gameplay in this game. the 5 minute quarters makes its tough for immersion. doesn't work out as well as it does in college football games and the 2008 ai just isn't as good. I also feel like you could tell chat GPT to use the top 100 college basketball teams and it would work it out... its the same 5 schools on every players lists. going to have 7 man super teams on Duke and UNC by year 5.
Yeah you just can’t hop into simcast live at all so we never actually watch the guys! Yeah I got rid of that stipulation I promise you that doesn’t happen the teams get spred out very well IMO

That’s fair. But like you can’t hop in when you are sim casting. So we would never actually get to see the players

I just basically trained the AI with what i wanted it to and then make the recruits in 2k

I love the concept, but I feel like you could have used NBA 2K24 with rebrands for the actual gameplay footage since you are using real players!
Then you don’t get march madness. You don’t get real rankings. 2k don’t give you the full college experience
