I know at least one other commenter has mentioned that N64 semifinals race... but can we all just agree that was the craziest, most nail-biting MK Wii race ever? I kid you not, I was *dizzy* during those final few corners it was so intense. And that moment at 45:55? I think my heart stopped beating lol.
That Rainbow Road Top 3 comeback was incredible.
That N64 Rainbow Road is easily top 5 races Troy has ever played, I felt like I was in a roller coaster watching It. Also props to Zilla and Rock sea, amazing play by both.

Zilla and Troy are formidable players. It's exhilirating to see both in a competitive setting, and I feel like my game sense improves *so much* by watching high/top-level gameplay.
200cc skill level in troyâs rooms is off the charts these days, a lot of it because a decent chunk of the community is all over the 200cc TT leaderboards and 200cc lounge has also gained some traction lately.
Maybe a cap on bonus items is a good thing. It discouraged hoarding them and encouraged you to use them more often. Maybe that's more interesting!
Definitely something to consider!
I'd like to see 2 or maybe even 3, to still encourage usage, while also allowing for strategy. I think that would be the perfect combo

This was an absolute blast to play! Some of these tracks are actually very fun on 200cc, but I will always remember that FIB on N64 Rainbow Road, i will never forget that. :twdH:

Can't believe bonus items got capped so hard. Man I'd want to see MORE bonus items if anything. Imagine, 1 bonus per 3 points, uncapped bonuses, 24 player item rain on 200cc with regular item boxes disabled.

I think you put max bonus items to one if that is a setting because I never saw you accidently use one and even after you just gained one you stayed at one lol

You should do a "Gun Game" of sorts with NMeade or Mayro or any guest! Where you both start with 100% chance of pulling a really powerful item (eg shock or bullet bill), and whoever wins race between the two moves onto the next item down (so guaranteed star for example), then down again (mega/golden) until they get all the way down to Fake Item Box/Blooper, and whoever wins first (between the two players) with the worst items wins the game!
Additional term, more optional: Placing last in any given race means you get setback one item, and placing first means you move TWO items down, to incentivise targeting players outside of your rival :)
I think that'd be really fun to watch, but it could be messy in terms of modding the game like that

Im baffled. It felt like Zilla dominated the whole time til the Finale were he fell apart, or was he trolling.
He wasn't trolling, that was actually his first time playing 200cc, so I dont blame him for messing up. Finals are very stressful as well.

Why is mkwii just soo much better than mk8deluxe? The physics and the linear gameplay is just sooo much better. Mk8 just feels like thereâs too much going on, and I still love playing it, itâs just nothing compared to the GOAT
Genuine question: once you realised that you set the bonus item cap to 1, why didn't you start using them until right near the end? Normally, it makes sense not to until you really need to, but when you have just 1 at most I feel like it makes sense to use them more and try to get incremental point gains here and there.
Incidentally, think I prefer this to the normal approach to bonus items in your videos. I feel like the max cap becomes very "rich get richer" and as a viewer it can make finales less interesting as they so often boil down to who has more bonus items.
The races are so fast that I completely forget about them since thereâs so much going on
And yes, this bonus item mistake actually turned out to be a good thing

Yeah so prolly imo there's gonna be: ofc Troy, Empex, Matu, Zilla (if he partecipates), maybe Nick but not likely, Snowie, you, malware and cowman like you said. Maybe Her, Police, Consumify, Act and maybe Soony? I'd say these are most likely the final partecipants based on variables

Also now that i think about it (dunno for how long you have around this channel) i remember that back when he did the "you're last you lose 200cc tournament" in 2020, there were also a few other good players like Melg, man he was a beast. And Apple also hasn't been around for sometime i think
