  • After 5-6 months, I wanted to share my opinion on these Quechua MH100 hiking shoes. I have used them on multiple backpacking trips, high mountain hikes, snowy conditions, rain and I even use these shoes almost daily in my local area. I also compare these shoes to my old pair and ultralightweight pair. They also claim to be waterproof but I explain the real-world use. (I will be reviewing some backpacks and other shoes soon links will be below!)
    I do recommend these shoes, especially if you can get them on offer! (Decathlon product links are below.)

    Great review! I have a pair of these MH100 for about 2 years now and I have beaten the hell of them. They are great! Very strong and incredibly confort. Wayyy more comfortable than any Salomon. I have indeed sold my salomon to stay only with these. Mine is on the end of the life, but still in very good shape. No tears, no soles coming off, amazing. The waterproofing is pretty good. Never had a problem with it
    Kudos to Quechua for such a great pair of shoes!

    MH = Mountain Hiking
    SH = Snow Hiking
    NH = Nature Hiking
    100 = basic budget model no frills
    120 = slightly better usually
    500 = tries to emulate brand name features but also comes at the expense of price
    900 = the best Decathalon can come up with - also the most expensive

    I have Qeuchua 100 grey. The grip sucks. Is MH 100 good with muddy and rocks?

    • @TheOneGoodRoad
      @TheOneGoodRoad  Před rokem

      Yes in the beginning but after heavy use and 3 years they are almost completely smooth.

    How was their grip on wet rocks and boulders?

    • @TheOneGoodRoad

      In the beginning they were fantastic but over the years the tread wears out and they become slippery. But that's after 3-4 years of use.

    What are the other beige shoes that your wearing called?

    • @TheOneGoodRoad
      @TheOneGoodRoad  Před rokem

      I believe they are from a company called Hi-Tec, they use leather for the housing/skin of the shoe, instead of nylon.
