How To Make a Card Completely FREE in UNDER 5 MINUTES for your HTCG

In this video, I give a quick, easy, and completely free tutorial on how to make a card for your own homemade trading card game at home. This is the process I use and find most effective for my own TCG called Realm Rumble. I hope this video is helpful to those looking for a way to create cards without spending any money. What if you don't have many pokemon cards or cards from anyother games
Well if you plan on using no card sleeves, something sturdy like cardboard will due the job. If you plan on using card sleeves, then try to go for something more flat. My best recommendation would be to cut multiple card cutouts from a sheet of paper and stack them together. The Pokémon card is really just for stability so it’s not so flimsy by being just paper.
I find using $1 standard playing cards works well.
Using thicker 200+gsm paper will do the trick as well.

If I may make a suggestion: Get an A4 sheet of regular paper, glue 9 Pokémon cards on it, cut around the cards and boom! 9 plain cards ready to draw on. I've been doing that for years.
If I ever have a bit of plain paper that I plan to get rid of, I instead make blank cards with it to add to the stash.
That’s pretty smart! The only reason why I use the notecard sis because thier a little cheaper and easier to find at most stores you go to. 9 cards per A4 sheet is much better though compare to 2 cards per 1 notecard.

This video was a bit simple but ok - 👍 because it is still nice to see someone sharing ideas.
I've seen other methods on CZcams - like printing black and white laser on card and cutting out cards and rounding corners.
Ya I’ve seen many videos of cutting corners and making the cards really really nice. The biggest thing for me was to keep having fun and if I spent most of the time just trying to make the cards perfect, than I would lose interest. For me I have a bunch of Pokémon card and no mtg cards so I found that this method worked the best for me and that sharing it to others would be very helpful for others.
If you are using extra cards as stiffener in the sleeves you should use thinner paper for your cards because it's going to make your deck really really think if each sleeve has both an old card+your home made idex card inserted.
Honestly, if your using index cards and descent sleeves (dragon shields) I don't think you really need stiffeners personally.
I've made decks that were entirely proxy cards and it was shuffleable without stiffeners and the proxies were all made on printer paper. They were too thin yes, but they did work.
Also, if you draw your cards on a full sized paper you can more easily take those sheets somewhere to make copies. Then you don't have to make each duplicate card by hand.
Draw 4 - 6 cards on a sheet, then make 4 copies, or 8 (for extra decks to play with your friends or family)
I do like your take on using thinner paper or not even using stiffeners like a Pokémon card. For me I do all my play testing online so I don’t print out cards to make at home decks. The reason why I use the stiffeners is because these are the final art I plan to use when I edit digitally. The stiffeners are just to make sure I don’t bend any cards by chance, allowing me to make sure the art is safe. Once I do get the digital format for the cards going, I will use your idea for the cards as it will help with in person battles

Man pretty cool been making cards for years I just deleted CZcams comments were rude I bought card stock the traced then to to and glue with glue stick they fit in the hard cover plastic Cases I like your idea better
Sorry to hear about the rude comments. I defiantly think that my way of making homemade cards as shown in the video is cheap and efficient. Always open to new ways of making htcgs
