A big yes to lilac blush video. I can only wear cool colours, and most blushes are warm tones.
It's so funny you say that because I feel like a lot of blushes are actually cool toned. Especially recently with the rise in popularity of those cool, bubble gum pinks (like the Dior blush).
Same, I've been wearing the L'oreal color match blush in 1-2 fair/light in Baby Blossom exclusively for yrs because everything else seems to pull warm on me. Us cool tone peeps seem to have a really hard time with finding makeup in general.
@@kellygreengables3936 That Dior blush in the pink looks coral on me! I find Temptalia the only reliable place to say whether a blush is cool or warm. This year many Sephora beauty brands described a blush as cool pink and I had to return them for looking orange or coral on me.

@@5117danielle I think she wants to pass some of them along to people who will use them regularly. Cream products obviously expire before powder products do, and one person with one face, (part one who needs to be testing new products fairly regularly), can only use so much!

As someone who doesn't get much of a chance to touch up during the day, it would also be helpful to know how long each one lasted on the skin.
It's impossible to advice on that because longevity truly differs from person to person depending on skin type, moisture levels and your general day-to-day movement. That's something you have to discover on your own.
Yes! Pretty colors and pretty packaging are pretty useless if the product wears off in 1-2 hours. I always look for honest the reviewers who test cream products for longevity. They’re the best! 🥰
Amanda, You're supposed to squeeze the dropper once it's outside the bottle and then release when inside. That's how all.droppers work. You can't expect them to load on product if you squeeze them when inside the bottle.

I typed the same exact thing and saw your comment and deleted mine. Lol. Yeah the air has to go somewhere before the dropper can suck up the product. It is how the brand recommends to use it as well, I believe.

With dropper packaging, you need to open it, squeeze the dropper while it’s in the air, and then put it into liquid and release the dropper to get the most product up :))

The Kjaer Weis cream blush formula is the best I’ve ever used! Easy to apply and blend, not patchy, not sticky, and long lasting! Absolutely agree with you. My favorite shade is reverence
To use the dropper, pull it out and keep it squeezed while you put it back in. When you let go it will draw up the blush. Then pull it out without squeezing.
A lilac blush video would be epic! Clinique Pansy Pop comes to mind :) Purple is one of my most flattering colors so I would love to see options to incorporate it into my makeup! Love your channel, Amanda!

You have so many bright ass blushes. I always gravitate towards more muted colors but would be very interested to see some of your oranges and reds on the skin (and yes, even that REM one, lol).
Maybe a future video could be your classic subdued makeup looks but with brighter colors for spring/summer, but make it Amanda.

You asked about the Lilac blush video idea, I would love to see something like that maybe with unique colors as a whole. I’ve been trying a lot of blush and sooooo many of them look exactly the same on the cheeks so makes me hesitant to try out others. Knowing some unique colors makes it easier to narrow in on some cool blushes!

I don’t understand how fair people like me can use the bright red or orange blushes without ending up looking like a china doll with a fever. Literally every blush except browny nudes makes me look insane.
Try some Asian beauty blushes! They are truly lacking in pigment often times so they’ll be perfect for pale skin kskdhd

I think it depends on undertone - I’m fair but with a warm olive undertone and warm hair and eyes. I find orange blushes look the best on me but I think fair people with cool undertones, particularly if their hair is also cool-toned, may find them too unnatural looking on their complexion.
I have a great tip…use sheer lipsticks…I know some makeup artisits who even have recommended using cream sheer lippy for cream blushes..
If u use more sheer lippy with pale shades it could work….by the way I use my lippy all the time as my blush. I’m really in love with the colour and its so pretty on me….😁
Do you have a cool undertone? Because I do, and I cant use red, orange and even some peaches, It looks terrible on me. Pinks, corals and berries look great, as long as it is sheered out.

Personally I think that berry shades would be perfect for you, i love those and red ones to enhance my green eyes! Do you have a specific recommendation for a berry or a red blush? Amanda I have to tell you about a hidden gem: clinique chubby stick cheek color balm blush. Idk why no one ever mentions them but Amp'd up apple is my all time favorite blush by them!

The only thing I care about REM at all is their highlighters. They have so many colors it would be fun to play with especially for spring and summer, but I don’t know if they’re decent quality.

I would love a Lilac Blush video! I love cool toned blushes. Mauve is also beautiful. NARS Sin is an excellent lilac/Mauve color. Fenty beauty blush in cool berry also has hints of lilac. ❤❤❤❤ I think Essence also recently released a lilac blush!

I have fair skin with cool pink undertones so I'm into cool toned pinks and mauves. I use Honest Beauty cream blush in "Rose Pink", Undone Beauty cream blush in "Bubble", and Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the shades "Happy" and "Believe".

On the web page for the dropper blush it says to open the blush pull the dropper out depress the button/ squeeze the top drop it into the bottle still squeezing ,let go , remove the dropper and squeeze the product out; Standard procedure for droppers but not everyone is familiar with it.
Also noticed you have so many fire red- brick red blushes… I don’t think I have even one. Unique to you to love the red blushes so much . I’m blonde and light skinned so I feel like I give clown with red, but they look so nice on you… jealous!

I was surprised that I didn’t see any Rose Inc cream blushes in this declutter. I’m not sure if you’ve ever used those blushes but I freaking love them and use them the most and I have over 50 single cream blushes (I’m just a normal blush loving gal not a you tuber) in addition to quite a few palettes. You’re making me want even more. I’m getting the Jouer and I’ll have to get Kjer Weis as well. I only have one face. It’s a problem! I also have a cream bronzer problem but nothing like my blush problem.
I admittedly haven’t tried ALL of these, but the Em Cosmetics so soft stick blushes are a forever favorite for me. They blend so beautifully with brush or fingers and the colors are divine. You should try the new strawberry and demure shades! So so pretty. Also I use the new rare lip oil in joy as blush and it’s adorable when I don’t wear much makeup.

I would love to see your deep dive into blushy-bronzer/rosey-contour type products! As a fair person, those colors work best for me over nearly ever cream bronzer I've found (exception is a rosey-toned cream bronzer from MOB Beauty. I love it so much!! ). I've always wanted to try that shade from KW, inner glow?, I believe. And just this video itself makes me want to swatch party my own cream blush collection. I think I have some shades on hand that may fit that bill among the forgotten and unloved in my stash. Thank you for the inspo to shop my stash! I bet I have a lot more than I think I do if I keep an open-minded to shade/formula rather than how it's marketed.
Plus, thank you for saving me money too! There were a few formulas I wanted to try that based on your mini-review and swatches, I know those won't be the formulas for me (like the Tarte liquid, for example).
Other blush related Video Ideas:
**I would also love to see a blush video specifically focusing on those hybrid formulas--examples like Mac glow play blushes, BM bounce-n-blur, and the like. I've always included those J.Cat blushmallows in that category as well. I love working with those kind of textures. K-beauty has some of those formulas too, like A'Pieu's Juicy Pang Jelly Blusher (different formula than the Juicy-Pang Blusher in the nail polish packaging).
**I also think that a video that spotlights the blushes that work like watercolors: the Juicy-Pang blushers just mentioned, Daniel Sandler's liquid blushes, and so on would be fantastic.
**Multi-use products that are usually in a multistick format--but not always, pots often work here too--and work well on eyes and/or lips. We know that many formulas claim this, but that's not always true. And some work much better than others, especially if you're going for a monochromatic look.
So maybe what I'm after may really be a deep-dive/swatch party breaking down the different cream blushes (bronzers too?) into these formula type categories. Make sense?
***Bronzer note: I'm dying for a comparison between RB bronzer sticks (esp those new shades. I've got my eye on the light cool-toned shade) versus the Merit bronzer sticks. I don't have easy access to Sephora, so I depend on reviews and swatches to make the best guess I can when I order online. I would love someone to address these two formulas against each other. ***HINT! HINT!*** cough...cough...Please?😊🙏🤗😇

The only cream blush I have is Westman Atelier - although it’s pricey I love it for it’s beautiful colour, formula and how easy it is to use. It’s perfect when you want to do an easy five minute look.
Idk if someone has pointed this out but I think that the tiny hole under the pan on Kjaer weis' blush is there so u can use a needle or a safety pin to push the pan outside of the packaging without damaging the blush. Love your videos Amanda ❤✨

So since she mentioned nails, I haven't tried the Dior, so idk if it's comparable in the appearance on the nail, but I really love Nail Envy from OPI. There are different types for different nail issues (the one I use is for sensitive and peeling). Lupus really destroyed my nails and made it impossible to wear nail polish without my nails splitting and peeling no matter what kind of basecoat I used for years. The Nail Envy has done wonders tho, you can easily use it on its own or as a base, and it also comes on its own tinted colors, not just clear. Highly recommend it!
So... 😊... I went to Sephora and looked at all the cream blushes. I looked at the Saie SPICY, tested it out on my hand, and was thinking there was no way this would look good on my light skin.. I tried it on my face and i was IN LOVE!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT LOOKS SOOO BEAUTIFUL! I wish I bought this before I bought the Rare Beauty Hope.. Spicy looks so much nocer on me!
It looks like I was in the sun the day before and got some colour without it being burnt or brown. Love😊

I’ve also felt kind of meh about REM Beauty tbh…however, the Juicy Pang Blusher has been my absolute favorite new liquid blush!
Is it dewy and does it last long looking dewy? Maybe that's not the nature of cream blushes i guess.

Suggestion: do wear test for your cream blushes as well as a video on tips for how to make them last longer on the skin.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the merit flush balms? I don't feel like they have enough staying power. I'd rather go with honest beauty, rose inc, or rare beauty.
