I used that 917 too in HS and it sounded like that and had weird amounts of pop right before it just died out on me and started to make no noise at all...
Weird thing about them is they chip to and chip badly, great bat but itâs gets really hot then died

Ok so if the bat is actually doctored you have to compare it to the Prime 2020 and some -5 composite bat. If it is way better than the prime and very close to the -5 then it is 100% rolled or shaved

As a hockey player who found your channel through the mysteries of the algorithm, and got addicted to the crack of a good bat I usually have nothing to say, but I used to play hockey with a guy who claimed to be one of the world's most notorious bat shavers. He claimed to doctor bats for collegiate athletes and Olympians in baseball and softball. I wonder if this bat is his handy work.

My son is using an LS Attack (aka Prime 914, $96 shipped) BBCOR I found NIW on *Bay a year ago and it sounds just like the Prime 917 in your video!

The bat is shaved for sure. I just got back from hitting with a USSSA bat and the pitch is super similar. So loud
Rolling doesn't change the pitch as much as shaving and all rolling does is break in the bat for you so that you have no dead spots

My son bough the a used 917 32â and it has always had a wild crack-sound to it, at times almost like it is broken but the ball travels
My kid had the prime 917 along with the Cat 7 & 8. The bat is hot and has a nice pop like a Mako. My kid just preferred the one pieces and they out did the prime. The prime is a beast.
Send it to a bat doctor and have them just remove the end cap and send it back to you. You will see the spiral lathe marks inside the barrel with a flashlight. That would be a sick reveal video!

I'm still swinging the 917 and I hit insanely well with it. Mine sounds exactly like that. I've swung the prime for a couple years now and I've hit a ton with it. Insane 10/10 rate on the bat.

I had one of the 917s long before they were actually released (may of 2016) because I had the 2015 model and it broke during the warranty period. So the sent me one of those. Unfortunately I was still in little league so itâs a 31 inch -12

Do you believe the end-cap looking looking loose is a problem. My stinger nukeâs end cap doesnât seem to be on there as tight as it should be as there r tiny gaps between the barrel and cap.
