9:27 Your armor and other equipment count towards the limit, so to maximize your zuggle amount, remove your shield and bow, and try swapping off your equipped armor when you begin dropping when overloaded to free 3 more slots
Link has a maximum amount of 21 items connected, 3 are ones you can't remove. Weapon sheaths, the object you are ultrahanding (not whole build), mounts, and the equipment you are swapping off of temporarily count

5:41 You need to make the durability go down to 1 with something fused on it (the extra durability system does work on the gibdo bone so even though it breaks in a single hit, it technechly does give + durability on the weapon) . After the bonous durability is used up, the gibdo bone fuse does work

Fun fact: On the Stalnox Horn model, you can notice heads of Stalkoblins, which could hint while the Stalnox's horn grew when it was sleeping, it took the heads off of some Stalkoblins

Can you beat TOTK as The Engineer? (IE: Using only zonai devices to deal damage.)
Loved it when he couldn’t get his words out when he was explaining that he watched point crow beat totk with steak on everything
It sounded a bit suspicious.
With a sneakstrike from an eightfold blade w/ octorock attack up +10, molduga jaw, bone proficiency, and attack up 3 food you do even more damage than that. AND it is reusable! Anyways, I always appreciate your videos, Justin, so keep it up! :)
This is true for regular enemies that can be sneakstriked, but they usually don't have enough HP to even justify making that weapon. For bosses and mini bosses that can't be sneakstriked, the method in the video is best I believe.
@@JustinBaeDon’t you think you can do more damage using the barbarian or fierce dieity set would do more damage since they give x2 damage instead of the bone proficiency (1.8x damage on bone weapons) on the evil spirit set or the skeleton set?
@@zmskanamzkzkzkakasksk fierce deity and barbarian armor do 1.5x not 2x, and he uses attack up 3 food which has the same effect as those armor sets

@@zmskanamzkzkzkakasksk Using the Fierce Deity or Barbarian armor set also doesn't let you stack with the attack up food buffs(Since it's the exact same buff), but Bone Proficiency does(1.8x on top of 1.5x), so even if the buff was 2x, Bone Proficiency stacked with attack up food would still be better.

By the way, I'm pretty sure if you throw your weapon to break it, it won't start spawning in the depths. You have to be holding it as it breaks. That gave me a bit of headache too.
That actually makes a lot of sense, because the weapon breaks after it's left your inventory as opposed to when it breaks in your hands, it's still in your inventory.
Only if it breaks on terrain. Throwing it on an enemy to break it will count.

For future reference, sneakstrikes do 8 times more damage, 16 times more if it’s an eightfold blade.
But bosses and lynels cannot be hit with a sneakstrike, so for things like ganon, gleeoks, or lynels, his method was the best option. Any enemy that could be hit with a sneakstrike(Which he does use against Army btw), just don't have the health for the 2x multiplier on eightfold blades to be necessary when he already had so many damage buffs.

At 5:45 what you could have done was fuse pretty much anything, continue breaking the weapon until it says badly damaged, remove the fused item, and then put the gibdo bone on

Question: Have you considered only using weapons fused to other weapons? It effectively cuts the amount of melee weapons you can have in half.

Fusing something that doesn't break to the royal guard claymore, getting it to badly damaged, and THEN fusing the gibdo bone gets you the badly damaged hit.
Each weapon has a Base Durability and a Bonus Durability, which is unlocked while something is fused to the weapon.
Bonus Durability Values:
-Stal Enemy Arms = 3
-Gerudo Weapons, excluding the Scimitar of the Seven = 5
-Tree Branches, Tools, Rusty Weapons, Royal Guard Weapons, and Gloom Weapons = 10
-All other weapons = 25
Bonus Durability is a property of the base weapon, and any Bonus Durability used will not be restored by fusing something else to the base weapon. Aside from materials that break in one hit, such as Gibdo Bones and Ancient Blades, all materials will last until the base weapon breaks. When fusing equipment to a weapon, the base weapon will still unlock its Bonus Durability, but the fused equipment will not. The durability of both equipment will be drained on hit.
When fusing equipment to a weapon or shield, the fused equipment will lose its modifier, but if it is a weapon, its Bonus Durability will be restored to maximum.
You couldn't badly damage the weapon with the Gibdo Bone because it still had Bonus Durability.

5:31 You have to use the 25 extra fuse durability with another fuse first
5:37 Others have also pointed this out, fusing adds an extra 25 durability, so you would need to get the weapon to a badly damaged state with a fuse, then destroy the fuse and attach the gibdo bone.
Edit: On an unrelated note, it’s better to sneakstrike (times 8 damage) than to throw the weapon (double damage)
I didn't include this in the video, but I already tried that. I may have done it wrong though so can't confirm for sure. Also, yes sneakstrike would be fine to use on regular enemies, but you can't sneakstrike bosses which were the real issue so I needed to throw the weapon
Royal Guard's weapons only get 10 bonus durability, but yeah. Gibdo Bones break in one hit so they take one point of that bonus durability and then it can't be "accessed" again until another fuse. In this case you'd have to fuse something, hit it at least 10 times with something fused and then attach the Gibdo Bone on its true last hit.
Also worth mentioning throwing weapons _against terrain_ to break them for whatever reason doesn't set the flag to allow the "pristine" version to spawn. But I assume he broke another one of the ones he duped against an enemy.

I'm shaking my head because he could've attached another material like an apple to the Claymore to get it badly damaged and THEN fuse the Gibdo Bone to it.The reason it kept replenishing the durability was because his Claymore's "Fuse Durability" didn't get depleted

You can also save before going to the shadow soldier and keep doing that until you get the pristine version of the royal guards claymore instead of taking the travelers claymore

I believe there's a hidden damage multiplier in totk that was missed in the calculations, of 0.8x for spears and 1.2x for two-handed weapons, so these damage numbers would theoretically be even higher - although I don't know if the multipliers from breaking a weapon and throwing it stack with each other, since with most weapons hitting an enemy by throwing it ALWAYS breaks it. The loading-screen text in BOTW implies that it's the act of breaking the weapon when thrown that causes it to deal double damage, but I have no idea if that's actually the case or not 😅

Why do people say that royal guard weapons double again on their last hit? from my experience it does not; only when it's close to breaking. i've used a royal guard weapon almost broken on a lynel mount, then got it one hit before breaking and did the lynel mount again. it did the same damage as before.
