On June 2, 2022, President Rumina Velshi provided opening remarks for the Commission hearing on the proposed near surface disposal facility (NSDF). The Commission welcomed Don Bilodeau for the smudging ceremony and Elder Barbara Sarazin for the opening prayer.

Co2 greened an area x2 the size of the continental United States! While Nuclear is not green, like coal and gas, it is able to offset the use of gas from gas fired power plants to plastics and other uses.
